In the first episode of the Golden Age of Pirates Series, April talks about the Golden Age of Piracy. There are a few puns and laughing fits along the way- must have been the incredible cocktail. Overall, a very fun episode where April and Tracy talk swashbuckling in the 17th century with the highlight on a famous pirate, William Kidd. He experienced many thrilling adventures, but ultimately his luck turned sour and led him into many terrible situations- which eventually cost him his life. Such is the life of a pirate, eh?

Today's cocktail is tropical and as turquoise as the waters of the Caribbean. Recipe below:

THE OCEAN RAIDER

2 oz. spiced rum
1 oz. coconut rum
1/2 oz. blue Curaçao
2 oz. pineapple juice
juice of 1/4 lime
lemon lime soda

Shake all ingredients with ice (except soda) and strain over fresh ice. Top with lemon lime soda and garnish with pineapple chunks and cherries. Add green cocktail glitter if you're feeling extra. Enjoy!
