0:41

1:35

Rays and Honey, but I would get to that

1:37

later for now. Let's start off with our thoughts.

1:40

On the February twenty twenty three

1:42

Nintendo Direct. Andy

1:44

Cortez, I wanna start with you. What

1:46

did you think overall and what review score

1:49

would you give it on the kind of funny scale?

1:51

Oh, this is tough, man. Because I think it started

1:54

off strong and then just got really,

1:56

really, like, down on the dumps, and it became

1:58

a disappointment for a good while there.

2:00

The shadow drop of Metroid, I think, is phenomenal.

2:04

Hickman looks dope. Of course, ending

2:06

with Zelda looks great. All the Game

2:08

Boy games being available. Can't

2:10

wait to get back to Oracle of ages and season

2:12

for the first time since I was little baby

2:14

boy. I would give this a

2:17

I would give this a three out of five.

2:20

I think that they dove in good. Yeah.

2:22

Like, yeah, it's it's it's serviceable. think

2:24

it's serviceable. Hey. Yeah. It's

2:25

fun. It's fun.

2:27

It's all good. Gregory. It's

2:29

okay. Right? Isn't three out of five okay? I

2:31

understand. Thank you. Just make sure. Just make sure

2:33

I was wrong. I'm right there with Andy. I

2:35

give it AA3 out of five. I think

2:38

I thought the first thirty minutes were

2:40

rough and not. Like, you know, I don't even gotta put

2:42

out your names. You gotta do much stuff. You gotta you gotta But there

2:44

was a lot of stuff that I did not care about,

2:46

and so I'm coming off of that perspective. But then once

2:49

we got to the gay boy announcements for

2:51

a switch online, I thought we were off for the races and had

2:53

Solid finish had some cool stuff in there. Obviously,

2:55

you know, Metroid coming out huge.

2:58

Advanced Wars getting updates huge. Oh, these

3:00

Game Boy stuff's great. And then, obviously,

3:02

having solved, then there's gonna be

3:04

one, you know, more Mario cars. That's cool.

3:06

It was fine. It was okay.

3:08

Bless you. I wanna give it a two out of

3:10

five. When I saw what's going through, I was

3:12

highlight for bad. Yeah. I was highlighting the

3:14

things that stuck out to me, and I only highlighted

3:16

four things. Those were the Game Boy games

3:18

coming to Nintendo Switch online. The Game Boy advanced

3:20

games coming to Nintendo Switch online. Metroid

3:23

prime remastered and then the Zelda two is the

3:25

kingdom trailer. Three out of four of those

3:27

things are old content, you

3:29

know, making their way to the switch. And I think

3:31

for me, I need a lot more new stuff I

3:33

need a lot more surprises. I think the Zelda trailer

3:35

was really awesome, but Zelda is something

3:37

that we've gotten a lot of over the years and I

3:39

expect that to be awesome. The Pinkman

3:42

four trailer, I thought was fine. I'm not a Pinkman

3:44

person, and that trailer didn't sell me on

3:46

becoming a Pinkman person. They had

3:48

the xenoblade expansion early on as well. And, like,

3:50

that's another thing where I'm not as easily a person.

3:52

There's a lot of people that aren't as easily people. Right? And I

3:54

think, you know, you go down the list and there's

3:56

a lot of stuff in this direct that we're either

3:59

updates on games that are speaking to

4:01

sort of niche audiences. And then games

4:03

that I just don't think have enough pop. Right? It's

4:05

like how much how much time do we really need to spend on

4:07

fashion dreamer? Like, why wasn't that part of a montage.

4:09

Dead cells turn to castlevania is cool, but we've

4:11

known about that. Tron Identity is

4:13

cool. But, again, we've known about that. I think for me, I

4:15

needed a lot more. You can play

4:18

I'll check out the strong game. Yeah. You know, I'm not a strong person,

4:20

but I do, like, my my bithone. I got to help reveal that

4:22

game actually. So I really wanna check that that

4:24

game out. But All in all, I think I wanted

4:26

more from it. Shout out to the Donut Gamescast

4:29

that has me

4:30

curious. I don't know if I would say that had the best showing,

4:32

but it's one that I'm still curious to check out when

4:34

that comes out. So overall, two out of five for

4:36

me. I am higher than you guys.

4:38

I would give it a four out of five. I

4:40

can't give it a five because fives for

4:42

me need like out of left field didn't

4:44

see that coming and I'm wowed and can't wait for a moment.

4:46

This didn't have that, but this did

4:48

what I expect from a direct what I'm looking for

4:50

from a direct, which is answering questions that I

4:52

have. And a lot of the questions

4:55

I have were release date based. And now we got release dates

4:57

for Pikman. We got release dates for advance wars.

4:59

We have a confirmed release date for Zelda that

5:01

I now actually believe in things that they're

5:03

gonna actually hit. Other dates

5:05

for some of the smaller titles that we've

5:08

heard before, but like seeing Trinidad return

5:10

to Pennsylvania and the

5:12

Disney illusion. These are things that we've only seen,

5:14

like, once or twice or once, really,

5:16

this is the second time for, I think, all of those.

5:19

So that's cool. And I do love

5:21

the focus on the expansion

5:23

passes for these games that might not

5:25

be even for me, but spend for a xenoblade

5:28

and for splatoon. It's like it's good that Nintendo

5:30

is supporting really, really high quality

5:32

Gamescast people out there love that are just

5:34

as valid as Mario's and Zelda's and all that

5:36

stuff. On top of that, we got Metroid Prime.

5:38

Today, a shadow drop for a game that we've been waiting

5:40

for forever could not be more excited for

5:43

that. Unless you're right, it is a lot of old games. But

5:45

at this point, the switch has become the greatest

5:47

play place to legally play old games.

5:49

The amount of HD collections and remasters.

5:51

I love the trend of getting a lot of DS games.

5:54

There was two or three shown in the

5:56

showcase of DS collections or DS remasters.

5:58

And the DS is a system that will

6:01

not be preserved properly unless games reported.

6:03

Like, that game with the system was weird, so the

6:05

games had to be designed with two screens in

6:07

mind. If people do not play it, those games are

6:09

gonna be unplayable at a certain point.

6:11

So I do think it's cool that they're we're moving

6:13

to that that era. And I did

6:15

not expect to see Game Boy, Game Boy Advance. That seems

6:18

like something that we all want, and we all, like, expect

6:20

that, oh, it'd be cool if they did it. They fucking did

6:22

it. The lineup looks great. Getting a bunch of them

6:24

today I think is cool. Confirmed oracle

6:26

of ages and seasons like that is the type of stuff

6:28

that I'm looking for. No Pokemon. Definitely a bummer

6:30

on both the Game Boy and advanced side. Hopefully,

6:33

they're holding on to that and gonna release it at some

6:35

point soon, especially with the 3DSE

6:37

shop coming to a close next month.

6:40

The amount of games that they had in

6:42

this I thought was, like, really impressive in

6:45

terms of things like the Catamory

6:47

Dynasty and Octavout Travel, a lot of

6:49

updates on what we know we're coming, but then a ton of

6:51

cool games like Sea of Stars and Omega

6:53

Strikers and things that we didn't I didn't

6:55

know about OmegaStriker's, but it looks like a fun

6:57

time. But I do think overall,

7:00

yes, this is missing the crazy

7:02

big announcements of things I was looking for like

7:04

Mario, which I expect we're gonna get at some

7:06

point. But

7:08

with every passing Nintendo Direct, it

7:10

makes my questions get even more and more

7:13

confirmed of, like, what is Nintendo EAD up

7:15

to? What is Greta's up to? What is the team

7:17

behind Mario Kart up to? What is

7:19

the team behind Louisa's mansion up to? What

7:21

is the the sports team up

7:23

to? We're gonna get those answers at some point.

7:25

We just have to. Retro. Been working

7:27

on Metro Prime four for the Zelda ports. I

7:29

think met where the Zelda ports, we're gonna get

7:31

them. With Metroid Prime four or with the

7:33

Metroid Prime remaster, we're close

7:35

to the never to Prime This we've always said that

7:38

there has to be enough of a gap between

7:40

the release of the remaster and the new one

7:42

to come out. I think them dropping

7:45

it fit digitally today and physically later is another

7:47

important thing to point out in the future when we're trying to

7:49

predict how Nintendo might announce games

7:52

or what they will or won't do. Anyway,

7:54

I thought this was a a great Nintendo

7:56

Direct, not my favorite of all time by any means,

7:59

but a few genuine surprises in there even

8:01

on smaller scale like Samba Day and Miko.

8:03

Sure. Why the fuck

8:04

not? I'm excited for to play that for a weekend.

8:06

I was very impressed by how they went about

8:08

the Game Boy and Game Boy advance stuff where

8:10

I'm a big entity for fan. You know, I talk about all

8:12

the time. When Nintendo dropped the entity for

8:14

for the Nintendo Switch online plus expansion

8:17

pack, I feel like the messing around that

8:19

and the marketing around that and how they packaged it was filled

8:21

with a lot of disappointment and weird

8:23

Nintendo decisions. This was pretty

8:25

flawless. I feel like in terms of how they how

8:27

they pack did, of course, like it'd be cool if it was Pokemon and other

8:29

games in there as well. But I think that the

8:31

games that they included feel a bit more

8:34

above and beyond than what we usually get in the first

8:36

lineup of one of these devices. And so when you're

8:38

talking about the Game Boy and Game Boy Color,

8:40

right, you're talking about Tetris to Mario land two, Linx

8:42

awakening, Mario's quest, Game and Watch Galleria

8:45

two alone in the dark, the new nightmare which of course

8:47

is gonna throw some random games in there. Metroid

8:50

two, Wario Land three, and then also Kirby Stream

8:52

Lane. And then we talk about Gameplay Advance. You're talking about

8:54

Super Mario Advanced four, which is Super Mario three,

8:56

WarioWare, Kiryu Kiryu, which

8:58

is actually a pretty fun game. I don't know how many people are

9:00

familiar with that

9:01

game. I don't know why I'm familiar game, but

9:02

It was a Kirby version of it at some point.

9:04

Maybe I check that one out because I was

9:06

like an niche. Io game or something. As soon as I saw

9:08

it, I was like, I played a lot of that game and maybe

9:10

I had it edit on advanced.

9:12

I just forgot about it. But, yeah, like,

9:14

you know, that's cool Mario Kart, Mario and Luigi's

9:16

superstar saga, manage cap. And those are all out

9:19

later today. That's a pretty good lineup

9:21

and it also leaves room for a lot

9:23

more stuff to come through. Right? They had Golden Sun

9:25

coming out later. I know there's a lot of people that are big fans

9:27

of of Golden Sun. Yeah. So I do wanna commend that because

9:29

I think in terms of how they usually roll that

9:31

stuff out, I'm always I'm

9:33

expecting usually the worst when it comes to Nintendo

9:36

and them looking at their legacy bring it

9:38

forward. And I think they did a pretty good job with the Game Boy

9:40

stuff. I I think my biggest disappointment

9:42

in this showcase is when

9:44

I hear that there's gonna be a forty minute

9:47

plus thing. Tim,

9:50

you kind of praised the amount of things that we

9:52

saw, the variety of things that we saw. I think

9:54

that's to this this showcase is detriment. I

9:56

think if they would have shown less

9:59

of those smaller titles and

10:01

just longer segments on whatever

10:03

Zelda is, whatever Metroid Prime

10:06

remastered is. If we spent more time on

10:08

those bigger marquee titles, I think I would have been

10:10

more positive on it. I just think

10:12

that when we hear, like, again, forty plus

10:14

minutes, that seems like holy shit. They're really

10:16

gonna bring the heat with this one. And

10:18

unfortunately, it was a lot of, like, kind of middleware

10:21

for me. The yeah.

10:24

Spend I I would say spend more time on on

10:26

the Game Boy collection as well.

10:28

Give more time to advance or even though

10:30

we've seen enough of it, it's just like that's still

10:32

something you can do a bit of a deeper dive on.

10:35

When I see deep dives on whatever the bayonetta

10:37

game is and and like blessing mentioned

10:39

the fashion game, it's like we don't we don't

10:41

need longer segment here.

10:43

You can just show off a little bit of a of

10:45

a trailer here. But, yeah, I think that the I

10:47

think the amount of games was to this showcase

10:49

detriment. I I'd say spend more time

10:51

on the bigger

10:52

titles. CSRs. Holy shit. That game looks

10:54

really damn good. On the Nintendo eShop,

10:56

it looks like Zelda Tears the Kingdom is back up

10:58

and it is sixty nine dollars and ninety nine

11:00

cents. Fucking hell. Fucking hell.

11:03

It looks fucking awesome though, man. Like, ending with that,

11:05

like, I I'm I can't wait to play

11:07

that game. I love how dark it looks. I love how

11:10

epic the entire thing is, like, both the score,

11:12

just the presentation. And, like, this what

11:14

we're seeing right now on the screen with these, like,

11:16

creatures flying around in a in a dark storm. Like,

11:18

it reminds me of some of my favorite moments from

11:21

Twilight Princess. And Zelda has

11:23

never been afraid to, like, kind of flirt

11:25

with the dark side of things and and kinda be

11:27

a little scary at moments. And

11:29

this looks like they're really tripling down on that,

11:31

you know, from an ocarina to majora's mask

11:34

type

11:34

vibe, but taking the breath of the wild to this

11:36

I think, is extremely exciting.

11:38

Canon being voiced. It

11:40

sounds like I assume that's Canon. It's that it was

11:42

a evil voice. And people which I were pointing out that they

11:44

think it's Matt Mercer, which I don't know if we have

11:45

did sound like bad person to me. That's who

11:47

I initially thought of, but I don't have any.

11:49

Also,

11:49

shout out to what

11:50

I assume is that a three headed dragon right

11:52

there on the bridge. Looks dope. The three

11:54

headed dragon to you. Can you What it looks like? And

11:56

and yeah. I I needed an answer on that because that

11:58

sounds dope as

11:59

fuck. Oh,

12:01

shit. Oh, yeah. Yeah. I love I

12:03

love some of the news that we're saying. I love the big it

12:05

looked like one of those bosses that you just find out in

12:07

the wild rare, but it was, like, made of of a bunch of,

12:09

like, blocks. Like, the weird kind of, like,

12:12

construction --

12:13

Yeah. -- thing that was going on. It looks like the the kind

12:15

of, like, the sheikah technology. So I was

12:17

saying kinda I have I have

12:19

expected the

12:19

narrator, I guess, of that scan in his voice

12:22

to say, the lonesome dungheter.

12:24

I

12:24

just Oh, yeah. With this weird sort of

12:26

intro. This game looks fucking great.

12:28

Again, it's just a crime that

12:31

for seventy

12:31

dollars, you're gonna be getting, you know, two dollars

12:33

per frame. This is

12:35

one of the things I'm for sure gonna watch over and over again

12:37

just to see the different tools and stuff they're using. Of

12:40

course, when I think breath while, think of the Shigaslee

12:42

and all the tools that really

12:45

made that game feel so, like,

12:47

in the moment in terms of Oh man, I got the

12:50

my magnet tool. I got my bombs. I got, like, the

12:52

freeze time thing. Right? Like, they're

12:54

showing off a bit more of what whatever the Sheikah

12:56

slate in this game is. Some more of those

12:58

tools. Zero. And those like, this thing right here

13:01

where it looks like you are you are pushing the things forward.

13:03

That might be another magnet tool, but Yeah.

13:06

Like, I I can't wait to rewatch this to

13:08

to check that stuff

13:08

out. Just yesterday, I was rewatching

13:10

the breath of the wild launch

13:13

trailer. That they ended the Nintendo Switch

13:15

presentation in twenty seventeen with,

13:17

which is I think one of not the greatest video

13:19

game trailer of all time. And watching this,

13:21

it it really is reminiscent of

13:23

that. I think they're trying to evoke some of

13:25

that. It's like a apple, like, more mean.

13:27

Does that mean is that mean? Is that is that one well,

13:29

that one was like seems more sinister. Here yet.

13:31

Yeah. Yeah. Because that that breath of loud

13:34

one from the the one you're that you're talking about, Tim,

13:36

was more, like, we there's, like, a lot

13:38

of loss and a little bit of hopelessness, but it

13:40

was also, like, you know, Zelda being like, you

13:42

know, Link, we gotta save the world. And this is

13:44

very much seemingly gain and being like

13:46

fucking kill

13:47

them. And I'm all about that. That's that's

13:49

a cool juxtaposition. These

13:51

vehicles that we're seeing in the open field,

13:54

does it kinda seem like you

13:56

are customizing them and building them however you

13:58

want? Or do you think There's a car

14:00

look

14:01

like a big, like, flat thing up in the exterior.

14:03

Yeah. It looked like kind of like a modular

14:06

thing where you could kind of build

14:08

the vehicle however you want as opposed to, like,

14:10

hit this button to make the vehicle. It seemed

14:12

like it was put together in a way that you

14:14

could kinda

14:15

say, have a wheel here, have a wheel here,

14:17

maybe make a tricycle if you want. That's

14:19

interesting because I I you know, game design's

14:21

always so funny where they they spend years

14:23

making a comes out, and then people

14:25

play it. But then there's that the long tail of it,

14:27

of the people that are, like, really getting into

14:29

it, like, trying to break the Gamescast breath of the

14:31

wild being so physics based. We saw so many

14:34

cool so much cool evidence

14:36

of that. And people

14:38

making vehicles themselves in breath of the wild,

14:40

or it's combining different rocks and stuff and making

14:42

it go was like so cool to watch the YouTube

14:44

videos of and all the Twitter shit. And

14:46

then to have the DLC for Breath of Wild come out

14:48

and then you had the motorcycle, Right? I think that

14:51

this is kind of them really taken

14:53

both of those ideas to let the to

to all new

17:03

All new lights. I like that too.

17:04

Although there's a flying vehicle too. Right? And I'm

17:06

showing more of the word to Cali. I still have so many questions

17:08

about that. Honestly,

17:09

I don't like goblin. Pitten Spider Man. Yeah. Like,

17:11

it looks like Like, he's like the glass ratter

17:13

man. Yeah. mean, he doesn't have bombs that he can

17:15

drop them. Yeah. So,

17:16

yeah, at least.

17:17

He's fighting a great

17:18

goblin a human man on a fucking on

17:20

a big building in New York. Well, yeah. Like, I honestly

17:22

don't even want the answers until I have the game in my hands.

17:24

Like, that's the thing is, get nervous more where we get

17:26

these trailers

17:27

of, alright, don't show too much. Don't show too much. And

17:29

they're doing a great job of not showing too much because

17:31

I still have all these questions. don't believe

17:33

this Who is this? We'll never know until

17:35

we play the game.

17:36

That's Lisa. Isn't

17:37

it? So I'll discuss

17:39

it, Lisa.

17:41

And looking for my cousin Zelda,

17:44

but the

17:44

mad stories and the I did really

17:47

like the the final shot. What

17:49

seems to be Lincoln Zelda, like, reaching out for

17:51

each other. Yeah. It just looks hype, man.

17:53

There's just excitement to this. And it it does

17:56

in a lot of ways now, like this kinda

17:58

feels like the end of the Arab switch. Right?

18:00

Then committing to this May date, like,

18:02

I do think with the games they talked about today,

18:04

we're gearing up to the end. And this this

18:06

is gonna be an a bookend of Zelda

18:09

titles that are potentially gonna be too

18:12

Games of the

18:12

generation, games of all time, all of that. It's

18:14

I think that's really exciting. Yeah.

18:18

Great. What else do you wanna talk about? You

18:20

know, I was we mentioned it heads there,

18:22

but, like, harmony, the donut game. That

18:24

came out of that field. Wasn't expecting a

18:27

don't nod game today, and then it wasn't expected to

18:29

be, you know, exclusive

18:31

for Switch or whatever at least.

18:32

Coming out this June. And then, of course, the art stopping

18:34

far different

18:35

than anything we've seen from them when you talk about life a strange

18:37

turn in their other Like, I think that would

18:39

serve them well having this more animated style.

18:41

Hopefully, turn the game faster, but then also give it

18:43

a different a vibe to what you're doing in it.

18:46

Right? They talked about having your supernatural ability,

18:48

precognition there, see the future. That sounds

18:50

awesome. I you know, that gets me excited. Somebody

18:52

joked, of

18:52

course, there is a crying woman in the trailer, so Greg's in.

18:54

It's true. No.

18:56

Not is a narrative. They make narrative games.

18:58

love narrative games. I'm interested

19:00

to see what this is. And if it's a narrative game that

19:02

plays. Like, I'm watching a really good cartoon,

19:04

like, invincible, like

19:05

we're talking

19:05

about. Then fuck, yeah. Let's go see what's up in this world.

19:07

Yeah.

19:08

I'm right there. I'm right there. I'm right there with you too. That plus the

19:10

Lena Rain soundtrack is a thing

19:11

that got me in. Because, of course, like, we love don't

19:13

nod from Life Strange. And you would hope

19:15

that with this game, they're bringing a lot of that energy forward

19:17

with with a really cool animated RSR.

19:19

Right? With that plus the lane lane thing plus that looks

19:21

like a skill tree. I that's the time thing where there's Is

19:23

that the time being? Yeah. Dude. See the future.

19:26

It looks different. It being a c

19:28

the feature thing reminds you as well of life strange.

19:30

Right? Because in that game, you're controlling

19:32

time a bit. Sure. Well, as

19:34

well as,

19:35

like, the first thing that I know.

19:37

Well, I you know, I'm I'm curious to see if they're able

19:39

to pull off some similar stuff where in life strange

19:41

because of that power.

19:42

Right? You're able kinda rewind decisions and -- Yeah. --

19:44

take things back. You would hope that's what that skill tree

19:46

is. Right?

19:47

Yeah. Where it's like, okay. I went down this way and I see

19:49

this guy die, and I wanna go back the other way and see if

19:51

I could save him. That's

19:52

a little Haiti's vibes as

19:53

well. Yeah. So I thought too, right, but some of the characters

19:55

on there for sure. Gotcha. Superstein. I

19:57

I wanna say I would love to

19:59

see Metroid Red costume

20:02

DLC or, like, some sort of add on inside

20:04

of Metroid Prime remastered. Do

20:07

you like, is that something Nintendo often

20:09

does? Like, hey, we're bringing back this old game. We're

20:11

remastering it. Here's all this sort

20:13

of legacy stuff to go along with it to kind

20:15

of celebrate it as a franchise.

20:17

No. Not like that. Especially,

20:19

like, looking at what this is, it very much

20:21

seems like less a resident evil

20:23

two style remake and more of a

20:26

just straight up remaster because remember

20:28

the there was a remake of Metroid

20:31

Prime trilogy or one and two.

20:33

There were GameCube games, three was a wii Gamescast

20:35

out the Metrc Prime Trilogy on We with motion

20:37

controls --

20:38

Yeah. -- these are in Widescreen support. So

20:40

all these games team are, like, definitely in my,

20:42

like, these are my blind spots. I

20:44

did not have really any experience

20:47

with this era of

20:48

Gamescast, so I am super stoked to Yeah.

20:50

We should have like a GameCube, like, month

20:52

or like a year where we just go through Because I had the same thing

20:54

where didn't have a game

20:55

queue. Yeah. And I feel there's hell of game queue games that I

20:57

would love. I bought them nine queue twice. You

21:00

bought a game cube? I bought a game cube and then I

21:02

from a pawnshop and then I pawned it back because

21:04

I needed money. And then I bought another one from a pawnshop

21:06

because it was our It was a super smash bros and double

21:08

dash machine that we had and went back in the

21:10

day. I thought this is

21:12

about to be some kind of joke where I bought a game.

21:14

I got twice or whatever. Like, you die

21:16

twice, you

21:16

know. Oh, no. You die or you're here that's been for the last

21:18

time. No. I did the same thing with my PS three when I

21:20

was like, I I'm an Xbox guy, but I

21:22

haven't played uncharted or last a message that goes

21:25

up. You

21:25

guys are in for a treat with this one. Yeah. It it being

21:27

out today digitally, February twenty second

21:29

for this whole.

21:31

This get it's one of the it's a it's an all timer,

21:33

man. This is one of the first ten out of 10s

21:35

I played contemporarily, where

21:37

I was like, it came out. I was like, oh my

21:39

god. Video games can be so much more. It is very

21:41

much a Mario sixty four moment. I don't

21:43

know if that's going to translate. You know? It's

21:46

like, we have Mario Odyssey now. So don't

21:48

know if playing this is

21:50

for you guys having played so many similar

21:52

type

21:52

games. I don't know if it's gonna have the same type of appeal, but

21:54

something tells me it will. I don't know if you have the Mario Odyssey

21:57

of Metroid Prime though. Right? Like, there's not really

21:59

been a Metroid Prime to do Metroid Prime since Metroid

22:01

Prime.

22:01

True. They were, like, the first versus shooters

22:03

have evolved.

22:03

But even it's Bioshock, I think, is a good example

22:06

where it's, like, games that are like,

22:08

first person, but, like, it's and they are

22:10

shooters, but that's not necessarily the

22:12

focus of it. And so I do think that there's

22:14

that level. But metroid Prime, what it

22:16

really has going forward is the atmosphere. Like, you

22:18

literally will never hear somebody praising Metroid

22:21

Prime. I love when this happens. Metroid

22:23

Prime without mentioning the atmosphere fear,

22:25

the music, the just tone and vibe, and, like,

22:27

the desolate nature of it all. And

22:30

it's it's a little slower paced in some ways,

22:32

especially in the beginning, and as get the scanning

22:34

mechanics. But the version

22:37

dramatically improved the experience of

22:39

using motion controls. It is an example of game

22:41

that is enhanced by motion controls and then also

22:44

adding the dual stick controls I think is

22:46

gonna be really good for it as well. But really

22:48

excited and there's been a lot of

22:50

back and forth on, will it be just mission prime

22:52

one or begin the full trilogy? I've always kinda

22:54

leaned on it being the first and I'm excited

22:56

this is the way they're doing it because to

22:59

me, prime one is a ten out of ten, and then two

23:01

and three are really damn good games. Well, like,

23:03

they're not even in the same

23:04

league. Yeah.

23:04

How much was Skyward Sword? This might be a question

23:07

for for a chat. When the remaster came out.

23:09

I think

23:09

it was ten dollars less. think it was,

23:11

like, the e dollars. Because this is this

23:13

is thirty nine ninety nine on the on the US eshop.

23:16

And I there's not be a barrier question.

23:18

Did they add because I guess when they

23:19

added, like, a Mivo support or some shit to

23:21

Skyward to see if they did. But it was but

23:23

a lot of people weren't happy about it because I think it

23:26

it it gave you some

23:27

feature. Right? Like a fast travel or something like

23:29

that? Yeah. It added a fast travel

23:31

with, like, an exclusive amiibo

23:33

that you had to get or something like that, which is

23:35

really dumb. And

23:36

I guess they didn't talk they when they revealed that,

23:38

right, they talked about sixty some people are saying it. But

23:40

they they didn't talk about anything being added in terms

23:42

of content in the trailer, which makes me

23:44

think that is is straight

23:45

up. Pick it up. Pick it on switch.

23:48

That deal. Rendering looks a lot better. Like,

23:50

I think As much as I love Metroid

23:52

Red, I thought that there are several sequences

23:54

where, like, lighting just looked really kinda off

23:56

in places and Samus looked like,

23:59

her suit just felt weird in that world. Whatever

24:01

we've seen of this looks really damn good.

24:03

I think that, like, again, I'm saying

24:06

damn good for, like, whatever the Switch hardware can

24:08

put out. I think it looks really impressive. I'd

24:10

also just as as a non sequencer,

24:13

I'd like to imagine that, like, burdo, was

24:15

under contract negotiations with just holding out

24:17

to be in Mario

24:18

Kart. They finally came to agreement. They're

24:20

like Bertos here. They're really exciting stuff

24:22

getting more new courses in Mario Kart, I

24:24

know that that doesn't seem like the most exciting, like,

24:27

holy shit. This is the best direct ever type news,

24:29

but I didn't expect that. And Yoshi's on

24:31

stage with new Yoshi's Island music and the style

24:33

of Mario Kart, like, this is the type of shit that I

24:35

want. Support games that we love and continue

24:37

to do it and add new shit, even a decade damn

24:39

later. I think this was cool.

24:41

It weird

24:42

that we didn't get a date

24:43

because long

24:43

time we hear about a wave, they're like, and

24:45

it's coming out in, like, in a

24:47

long way or something. Yeah. Or something like that. So

24:49

I do do find it little weird. And especially,

24:51

because aren't they supposed to

24:54

what what wave is this? Is this wave four?

24:56

Four. Aren't we supposed to get

24:58

eight by the end of this year?

24:59

Mhmm. Okay. Brown, the falls

25:01

out to be recruited and birds. How about you?

25:04

Every other week, you're gonna get a

25:05

get a Mario card.

25:06

You need to train you. We can do is stream where I train you.

25:08

I

25:08

just don't know how like, I don't

25:09

get it. Never

25:11

break.

25:13

This is what say. You're never

25:15

getting Wirecarded or a nine. Wirecard nine is

25:17

not coming until the switch

25:18

too. Absolutely.

25:19

I mean Yeah. We've been saying that for, like, the less

25:22

I feel like I didn't say if you have been disagreeing,

25:24

but I'll say it again.

25:25

It's about that I'm disagreeing. I'm saying Nintendo

25:27

should put out a mark or not in the switch and make

25:29

a lot of fucking money. What's

25:31

better? The conversation we're having today on a

25:33

gives you What's

25:34

better than a million dollars. Very valuable. saying.

25:36

You have one thousand One seventy Like, your Mario

25:38

Kart eight sold fifty million as of this week.

25:40

You're telling me that Mario Kart nine won't sell

25:43

casually thirty, forty, seventy

25:45

million.

25:46

Like, come on. Gonna oh,

25:47

it'll sell that much on the Switch too. I'll

25:49

gross

25:50

all the first seventies. Like, I can't I'm

25:52

just, like, still really angry about that.

25:54

Like, that's it

25:55

should be higher. Thousand.

25:57

It's just fucking bullshit. Dude for, like,

25:59

n d. You're gonna

26:00

live in that game

26:01

for so long, though. It's just so fucking bullshit

26:03

that for a game this

26:05

late in a cycle to get a price increase.

26:07

It it makes no sense to me, dude,

26:10

especially when, like, what

26:12

are they trying to do? Fund the new hardware?

26:14

Like, they

26:15

wait. It's

26:16

just it's annoying to man. I'm so fucking

26:18

annoyed by this and bothered by it. I hate

26:20

it. I hate it.

26:22

Sure, man. A hundred and twenty two point five

26:25

million switches have been sold through.

26:27

They wanna get every dollar they can out

26:29

of everybody because they're a business understandably so.

26:31

How many Nintendo first party titles

26:34

do they have that are big this year or in the

26:36

future, especially if they're winding down. They gotta

26:38

get every less drop of juice out of there. How long did they

26:40

take to get going. I hear

26:41

you. Don't get me wrong. What's posted

26:42

knowing about it? I think it's, like, just doing the lesson

26:44

getting the most. Like, that's what it kinda feels

26:46

like with know that's

26:48

been the story and we're suckers and I'm gonna

26:51

buy it anyway because Nintendo only ever sends

26:53

one code. I

26:55

think that that goes back to the conversation. I mean,

26:57

Greg, we're having a bit earlier today where, you know,

26:59

Playstation did it. I think Xbox is doing it. I still never

27:01

confirmed that. But Playstation

27:03

waited until a console transition to

27:05

be like, alright, now we can justify it. Now we can

27:08

kinda get away with it. I think it feels

27:10

weird because Nintendo was doing this mid

27:12

toward, like, late switch generation, and

27:15

they are, like, behind

27:15

Understood. --

27:16

toggle. Toggle

27:17

that came out out of date already. Like, that's

27:19

I'm But when I the the way I've been thinking about

27:21

it today since our conversation more, I'm like, oh, man.

27:23

Yeah. Nintendo's fucking for

27:26

them, business wise, it's such a good decision

27:28

for them because you talk about attachment

27:30

rate. Right? Again, we talk about fifty million from our carte.

27:32

We're talking about forty million from animal crossing. We're talking

27:34

about an attachment rate that sometimes reach just

27:37

close to fifty percent. In terms of install

27:39

base. You start charging seventy

27:41

dollars for your games. Oh my

27:43

god. They're about to make Bank.

27:45

I mean, he's broke a while too. Like, I forget the

27:47

number off top of

27:48

my head, but I I wanna say it was, like, twenty.

27:50

That's a while. Then it's twenty something like that. Million,

27:52

which is absolutely wild.

27:54

Especially for a Zelda game. Zelda does

27:56

not sell like

27:57

that. But now it does. Yeah.

27:59

And you look at the switch and it's continued to do it.

28:01

So Yeah. Like, that's it's

28:03

wild that they're they're going forward. But,

28:05

I mean, I I expect this

28:07

game to be a ten. So -- Sure. -- that's where

28:09

we're going on. Yeah. But, like, it

28:12

and then Metroid Prime coming out of forty. I'm just

28:14

be real. I'm more surprised at that. Thought that

28:16

was gonna be sixty dollar for you. I'm pretty surprised. For

28:18

sure. Because it's an Nintendo. They don't give fuck

28:20

for all the reasons we're just saying.

28:22

Metroid primary master will be thirty

28:24

eight ninety nine in luck in six years.

28:28

There was a bunch of, like, little release dates

28:30

that were not even made a big deal, but I

28:33

think we've gotten really state before for the

28:36

Etrion Odyssey Origins collection,

28:38

which is June first. I don't think we got one for

28:40

a mega man battle network collection that we've heard

28:42

about before, but that's coming in April.

28:45

So looking at the Nintendo, they said that

28:47

this direct was gonna focus on the first and

28:50

the first half is now very fucking clear.

28:52

I think the biggest things that

28:54

we didn't hear about that we know we're going too

28:56

soon would be Pokemon stuff, but

28:58

Plus, now we're talking Pokemon days later this

29:00

month. I imagine they'll do it. Their own thing,

29:02

announced whatever the waves of Scarlet and Violet

29:04

DLC DLCR, as well as all the other

29:08

Pokemon things that they'd like to do, like sleep

29:10

or what we come up

29:11

with? Pokemon brown brown brown.

29:12

Yeah. Pokemon brown. It gave Pokemon due to

29:14

butter.

29:14

Yeah. Like, it helps your people. It's KFC.

29:17

This is the this is the kind of shit against on KQ.

29:19

I know you guys don't get that crazy on the stream.

29:21

No. No.

29:22

No. But yeah. I I literally

29:24

am utterly shocked that we're getting Game

29:26

Boy, that we're getting Game Boy today, good Game Boy

29:28

Lance. All of the good

29:30

stuff at once. Like,

29:31

you made you made joke about, like, them teasing

29:33

it out over five years that's what I expected too. Like,

29:35

here's all these games. And we'll slow and then it was just another all

29:37

up. All up. You yeah. You'll get to

29:39

pay the other ones on the Switch two or whatever. Yeah.

29:41

Yeah. And and, you know, bless us bringing

29:43

up earlier, like, the level of quality of

29:45

the games that they're they're launching with. And, yeah,

29:47

like, as a very, very excited

29:49

and proud owner of the Analog Pocket that I

29:51

use a lot. Like, I am now

29:53

pretty damn intimately familiar with the Game

29:55

Boy catalog and, like, they're not missing much

29:57

here. I didn't see donkey kong ninety four. That's

30:00

a big one. Mister

30:01

Martin Donkey

30:02

Kong ninety four before we get donkey kong

30:05

sixty four him. I'm throwing you through

30:06

Then he'll probably be able to play fantastic to get

30:08

Turn that behind upside down.

30:10

You know what I mean, Mary? Oh my god.

30:12

Do you think they've moved on fully from sixty

30:14

four plus? They're

30:15

like adding games to

30:16

it? We we got

30:17

Golden Eye

30:18

on there. Fuck you guys. No. This is We're still waiting

30:20

on They still make up NES games to add to that.

30:22

Make up. Yes. Those aren't real games.

30:25

We got Pokemon --

30:26

Table Babbles. -- like stadium real.

30:28

And stadium too. Google thing.

30:30

Yeah. And we're still waiting on Mario

30:32

Party three, I think. They just was this year.

30:34

Okay.

30:35

Yeah. So there's still a now in sixty four titles

30:37

that we don't have dates for. I'm

30:39

so excited to play Wario where when I get home.

30:41

I'm

30:41

gonna get home, man. Gonna be great. Give

30:43

me a Super Mario Bros. Deluxe.

30:47

That's so sad to say I could

30:49

think. And what a pretty not good

30:51

port of Mario one --

30:52

Yes. -- because it's port I play. That was my first

30:54

time playing to that game. Portland

30:57

Kevin in the chest says want perfect dark. I

31:00

do think at that at this point, we'll probably

31:02

get it.

31:02

Like, I think that now that the the wall's been

31:05

broken down somewhat. Yeah. forget

31:07

it's banjo on and it's throw a line.

31:09

Yes, it is. Okay. Yeah. I don't think you'll get I

31:11

don't think too. Not too. You'll probably get

31:13

perfect dark someday. Mhmm. But,

31:15

yeah, when you look through the the list of games announced,

31:17

like, you want I do appreciate that

31:20

we do get like Samba de domino,

31:22

party cent party central. Even though, like,

31:25

most of the time when they have that tier of game. It does

31:27

not speak to me. Yeah. Every now and then I feel like you do

31:29

get one where it's like, oh, shit. Alright. Cool.

31:31

I am. Yeah. Like, what was like, one of

31:33

the worry wears? I know more wear is a bigger deal.

31:35

Probably been somber dating me go. But, like, the last

31:37

Wario ware game. Right? Like, I felt like that game went and

31:40

I played that game and I was like, I was a fun time.

31:42

But it didn't set the world on fire. Right? Like, I

31:44

thought the game needs to. Exactly. And think they always

31:46

have a good handful of those games that that

31:48

come

31:49

through. And I think this direct Someday, Migos,

31:51

one of those. Yeah. No. This is gonna be

31:53

all Some of the Amigos is legitimately super

31:55

fun game. I don't know, like,

31:57

if it's going to be a major hit success,

32:00

but it's like, is as

32:02

good as super monkey ball. You know?

32:04

Oh, yeah. It's like really damn good. And again, this

32:06

goes back to the the point that I keep making that the

32:08

switch at this point six years into its life cycle.

32:10

Has so many amazing some of the

32:12

best ever exclusive Gamescast it is also

32:15

just becoming, if not already,

32:17

the best way to play old Gamescast,

32:19

like, the amount of collections on every single

32:21

system that you can play on the switch, whether it's Switch

32:24

online or these different separate

32:26

SKUs coming out, like, I think

32:28

it's, like, really really awesome. Yeah. And

32:30

to add to Somatomego, right? Like, I would put also put

32:32

Fainties of life in that camp. I will put a new

32:34

professor Layton game in that camp.

32:36

Right? Like, you had a lot of games that

32:38

are gonna speak to specific audiences

32:41

very loudly. And I think that's good

32:43

for those audiences and that's good for the variety

32:45

of the Switch. I still come back to

32:47

overall, when I look at this direct, you know,

32:50

to take it back to the top. Right? Like Andy was talking

32:52

about the first half of it. I think I

32:54

was still missing out on the first Right? Like, again, pigment forward

32:56

didn't speak to me. The Zoom based stuff didn't speak to me. And

32:58

the more we got into it into it through the first

33:00

half, the more was like, man, this might be worse.

33:02

Then the previous direct that we got, which

33:04

is like a hard bar to to to breakthrough.

33:07

But, again, when we got to the second

33:09

half, I think things really did pick up

33:11

from me. But I wish think the thing I wish

33:13

this direct did for me was paints a

33:16

more exciting picture of the year. That's for me

33:18

when I look at my switch, I think the main thing I'm gonna do on

33:20

that switch and it's probably for everybody. Right? Is zelda

33:22

tiers of the kingdom. But beyond that, beyond,

33:26

I don't know what else I'm picking up my switch

33:28

for? I mean, you see if stars is actually another

33:30

good one. Right? But I can play that I think my steam deck

33:32

if I wanted to

33:34

exclusively on the Switch, there's

33:36

not much that's calling out to me this

33:38

year. I need everybody to support the Zelda

33:40

Oracle need I

33:43

need the heads of Nintendo to see the numbers

33:46

just shoot out the fucking roof and be like,

33:48

and like, man, but he's We'll get this minimal

33:50

effort we put into putting these games on the switch, glad

33:52

we don't need to do anything and, like, remake them or

33:54

anything, you know? How you're saying something?

33:56

They have to be. We're gonna get a game

33:58

at some point from them, and I

34:00

think it's going to

34:01

be, at this point, linked to wake or linked to the

34:04

past, in the style. Which

34:06

I mean, while

34:09

they release Metroid during review season.

34:11

I'm so mad. It's always review season. I'm so

34:13

It's never gonna stop. Yeah. But we're in the thick of it.

34:15

There's always changes.

34:18

But, like, right now especially, you

34:20

know. You

34:22

got big boxes sitting out in the in the

34:25

studio right

34:25

now. We put the photos. You can say we have

34:27

PlayStation V or two out there. Why don't you break in Boston?

34:30

What the photos are awesome. No. They

34:32

exist.

34:32

believe you broke in Boston like that.

34:35

Delay Metroid Prime. I

34:37

mean, yeah, it is interesting to think about Metroid Prime four

34:39

at this point. And, like, where

34:41

does it land? Like, does it end up

34:44

coming out on the switch? Or do

34:46

they do a classic

34:48

Nintendo Zelda thing of it's cross

34:50

gen on both

34:51

consoles, which I mean, at this point, it's not even an internal

34:53

thing. It's like PlayStation did it. It's continuing.

34:55

I mean, they don't have and even speaking too

34:57

soon, but I don't think they'll have tiers the kingdom

34:59

to do that with. Certainly maybe there'll be a remaster

35:01

report, whatever they do. But

35:04

I wonder if I mean, that usually, I think they

35:06

would do do that with a Mario. A Metroid

35:08

seems a bit too niche to do that with,

35:10

but

35:11

I think they'll they'll do that with something -- Yeah.

35:13

-- and kinda cross cross

35:15

release.

35:18

No Mario game. Yeah.

35:20

No, Mario. I mean, we're gonna get a Mario

35:22

game.

35:22

Right? And we better Looking at the again

35:25

this year with the Nintendo World, with the Mario

35:27

movie coming out in April. The thing

35:30

about Mario is it doesn't need to be timed around

35:32

it. Like, I don't think anybody thought they're gonna release

35:34

it with the Mario movie, but like they

35:36

could just put out Mario game at any

35:38

moment and it'll sell just as well.

35:41

With them putting all their

35:43

their shit into Zelda in May.

35:45

It's like that's what I'm interested

35:47

in is the rest of this year for Nintendo

35:49

and looking at them how they've been in

35:52

the the past couple years. I don't know what that looks

35:54

like. I don't know that it's necessarily going to

35:56

I popped the fuck off, but

35:59

I don't know that it needs to when you have tears

36:01

of the kingdom. You know? Like, they're gonna come through.

36:03

And also, there's a shit a ton of games here that are gonna score

36:05

extremely high and speak loudly to

36:07

the people that are interested in playing

36:10

them. Like, Lakers has been waiting for PICKMAN for

36:12

a bazillion and a half year. I can't wait for I'm really

36:14

excited for Pinkman. It's been, like, so long since

36:16

I've got into that world. When it comes

36:18

to tears of the kingdom, like, This

36:20

better be the last of

36:21

us, Swan Song. This better be the

36:23

one that closes out the switch.

36:26

We go We got a couple more years with this thing.

36:28

Fuck gonna be with switch until twenty twenty. You

36:30

say

36:30

bad. Bad. True bro. Get you get used to it.

36:32

I'm gonna need I'm gonna need you all to teach me how to get

36:34

some games. So I'm busy. Alright? I need

36:36

to teach you

36:37

in. Get some Greg. No. No. Allegedly.

36:40

Allegedly. Some games.

36:41

Oh, yeah. I got you. You know what I mean? Allegedly.

36:44

I got like the alleged games with, like,

36:46

you know, alleged global illumination and sixty

36:48

frames per second and four

36:49

k. So, like, you know, give me, you know,

36:51

I mean,

36:52

the game. Because

36:52

we still need a little bit of time, Andy, to, like, lead

36:54

to your a keen to breathe, and then we can finally

36:56

get wind waker and twilight princess

36:58

on this fucking

36:59

console. You know? That'll

37:00

be twenty twenty six. Right? Yep. Yep. Yep.

37:02

WNDs, man.

37:04

I will say I I'm not surprised that we didn't see them

37:07

today. It it it felt too weird

37:09

of timing, especially with the hope that they

37:11

weren't delaying tiers of

37:13

the kingdom

37:14

to, like, talk about a

37:16

wait wait period.

37:18

Yeah. All of that. So Are we at point where,

37:20

like, it's just wait for the next anniversary of the next big

37:22

milestone. I mean, from what

37:24

You're not gonna do a happy thirty

37:26

eighth. Like, you're not gonna do a happy birthday.

37:28

From the Jeff Rob reports, and

37:30

this is from a year a half ago. So I don't know if he still

37:32

stands by

37:32

this, but I assume he does. He was talking about

37:35

them holding on to the Zelda ports.

37:37

No.

37:37

Fucking hold him to it. Hold his too.

37:39

The way look at the Jeff Brooks said this, and if you

37:41

decide, just fucking mine whenever he wants it, you

37:43

better go. But he was talking about how, like, Nintendo

37:45

was basically in between

37:48

figuring out where to release the Zelda

37:50

ports, where there wasn't tiers of the kingdom coming

37:52

out. Right? Like, they don't I don't think they wanted

37:54

them to

37:54

Everything seems weird. Jeff probably watched this correct

37:56

me if I'm wrong, but I think the idea was if

37:58

Zelda somehow shifted from this year to

38:01

next

38:01

year, then we we would see the Zelda ports.

38:03

But because we're getting towards the kingdom, they're gonna

38:05

hold off and wait until there's not a Zelda a big

38:07

Zelda coming out during the

38:08

year to the kingdom. I

38:09

wanna shout out sushi who says you guys are awesome,

38:11

Thanks for the react. Thank you. For watching.

38:13

Thank you, Susan. I make sure you're

38:14

using touch frames as well. When did touch

38:16

frames at? Yeah. Couple of days ago. Yeah.

38:18

What kind of funny games daily? Me and Bluster did

38:20

a bunch of predictions. We did. For

38:22

the Nintendo Direct. I'm gonna go through Pushing peace.

38:25

Let's go through and give some percentages on what we

38:27

thought was gonna happen. We're gonna embarrass us. Do

38:29

we see Well, we did we did okay. Do we

38:31

see a new mainline Mario game? Plus was at fifty

38:33

percent. I was at seventy five percent. We did

38:35

not. We did not. Do we see a new Mario

38:37

sports title? I said fifty percent plus seventy

38:39

percent.

38:40

It is seventy.

38:40

We did not. Does Metrc prime finally make

38:43

an appearance?

38:45

I

38:45

was at twenty five, you're at ten. Oh,

38:48

man. Liu. Sue Sayers, my

38:50

ass.

38:50

Do we get a Pigman four trailer? Hundred percent.

38:52

Ninety five percent. Oh, fucking. Got it. With the

38:54

release date.

38:55

You only said ninety five because you wanted to be different.

38:57

I didn't have to be different. Exactly. Will there

38:59

be any ports? I said a

39:01

hundred percent. Here we fucking go. Bless

39:03

us at sixty. Will any classic games

39:05

or consoles be out of the switch? We'd both set a

39:07

hundred percent. We fucking nailed it.

39:10

Is advanced wars reboot Camp finally coming out?

39:12

Will it be out now? I said yes and

39:14

no. And you said yes out shortly. We both

39:16

nailed it. Wow. Will we see any high profile

39:18

remasters, Zelda and Metroid? I said

39:20

yes. You said fifty percent. You need to bet.

39:22

I fucking nailed it. Do we get a Zelda

39:24

Tiers of the Kingdom Trailers? So how long is the

39:26

trailer? Let's set a hundred percent three minutes.

39:29

How long Well, how long time I'll check

39:31

it out. I'll figure it out.

39:32

And and also on that show, I said that the Beth

39:34

of Walden was three minutes. Were you watching yesterday?

39:36

Close to four. Close to four. Close to four. And I

39:38

did say that, like, I wanted a Zelda Tiers the Canadian

39:40

Trailers akin to that final breath of wild

39:42

trailer, which I would say that is, two eighteen Chadison.

39:44

Doing too? Too much. It's close

39:45

enough. I

39:48

seriously Fifty percent chance

39:51

of getting a Zelda

39:52

trailer, and we did get it. What's

39:54

something unexpected that you should think could

39:56

make an appearance, less of katana

39:58

zero -- Yeah. -- sequel or something. I

40:01

don't imagine it run down on me. And finally,

40:03

what we see see? What we

40:05

see hollow knight silk socks. Aah.

40:08

Plus the ten percent to

40:09

me, I don't know. Mhmm. I

40:11

I said -- Yeah. -- you had

40:13

a yes. -- just because I was hopeful for

40:15

keeping the faith. Keep in the faith. Yeah.

40:17

Yeah. So I honestly, looking

40:19

at this, it was barely in line with

40:21

what we're talking

40:22

about. And of course, not every single

40:24

thing goes. The biggest one for me is no Mario.

40:26

But even then I was saying it's like, I

40:28

was at the seventy five percent. I'm still seventy

40:30

five percent. We're gonna get AA2D or three d Mario

40:32

game this year. So just because it wasn't at this direct.

40:34

We're gonna get it at a

40:35

direct.

40:36

Was getting my next question for you is,

40:38

what is Nintendo's big

40:40

game for the

40:41

fall? Nintendo's proved

40:43

they don't need a big game for You're

40:44

gonna playing Pigman throughout the rest of the

40:46

year. I don't

40:47

know if I'm playing Pigman in July. Oh, no.

40:50

It's bullshit. Hi, listen. I played Pigman in

40:52

July.

40:53

I saw I saw this Pigman business right

40:55

there and grounded aided lunch. Alright.

40:57

You can go play grounded right now in the best deal in

40:59

gaming you can play tiny which also

41:01

set up with the PlayStation hoodie. That's I

41:03

play all sides of the field except in Nintendo. That's where

41:05

I

41:05

shit. I don't think I have any shit

41:07

in grounded. Have anything on pick being gonna

41:10

hell? I think it was so good, man. I think it

41:12

was fine. But also fucking pigment, they're only

41:14

at number four. Like, we got leaner and da

41:16

Vinci back there

41:17

building. You know what I mean? Good to make an amazing

41:19

fucking pigments for really quick, just

41:21

for updates. Game Boy, basic

41:24

Game Boy is on the Nintendo

41:26

Switch to online

41:27

basic. And then Game Boy advances

41:29

on

41:29

exciting features

41:31

alongside with Nintendo sixty four.

41:33

This is a heads up to everybody That's

41:35

great. I hate this company.

41:36

Right now in the

41:37

live chat, a guy named Brandon just went by and says

41:39

Greg looks like he just got back from his vasectomy

41:41

appointment. What

41:46

the fuck does that feel weird? Would

41:48

you it was okay. Weird. I put you in

41:51

a white What's this

41:51

question? Shoot. I don't get it. You got

41:54

it. Got it. You got it. Yes.

41:56

I don't know, pity. I don't understand. Was

41:58

it it?

41:58

SALTor, was it actually how you they dressed you with

42:00

this

42:01

call and

42:01

you Nick Gavo here, man. Did he get Greg or

42:03

what? You know what he means?

42:06

Yeah. After on the chat

42:08

was saying there's no way we get another

42:11

two d or three d Mario on the

42:13

the switch. I just wanna point out we haven't got a

42:15

single new two d Mario on the switch.

42:18

ByeStream. This should be like the first generation

42:20

a long time, that that would be the case. Like, I just don't

42:22

see that happening with how well those games sell.

42:25

And how comparatively they are much

42:27

lower stakes in terms of production and

42:29

everything. So I I think we're gonna

42:31

see it. I think that a ballgame we

42:34

don't necessarily need to have one. They don't always have

42:36

one, but I feel like the audio like some

42:38

audio. Right. Like Do you know we're getting Pokemon?

42:40

We're gonna get the The other thing is, like, is

42:43

I guess Pokemon DLC could count as a big game.

42:45

Because, yeah, I feel like usually it's either Pokemon or

42:47

there is something Nintendo. And I I know they I

42:49

don't know if they align it that way. I think

42:51

it is just happenstance that usually you get something

42:53

throughout the year from Nintendo. I guess there was that one

42:55

year that had animal crossing and paper

42:58

Mario, and I don't know if they had fall

43:00

game that

43:00

year. But I feel like usually they're they're

43:03

something. And I guess that could be Pokemon DLC.

43:05

But I feel like that'd be disappointing second half

43:07

of the year. I mean, I but there's also

43:09

the idea of other pomegranates and other legends.

43:12

At any moment, they can announce it and comes out.

43:14

You know? And I when when at at

43:16

any moment, it is probably gonna be in this month.

43:18

We'll get a better idea of what this year and

43:20

maybe even a a little bit of next year looks like

43:23

on the pope
