Cancel culture is growing. More and more people are using social media platforms to withdraw support from celebrities, ordinary people, businesses and brands - this is known as 'cancelling'. Many celebrities have fallen victim to cancel culture: Ellen DeGeneres, Jimmy Fallon and Kevin Hart to name a few. This powerful and influential form of calling out bad behaviour and enforcing social norms can be used as a valuable tool for social change,however, it can also be misused and people's lives can be ruined in an instant. Kess and Sam discuss the positives and negatives of cancel culture and the repercussions it can have on today's youth.
