What happened in 2008 when the market crashed, and what does it mean for us? Well, in a nutshell, property values plummeted and a lot of people lost the equity they had gained up to that point.

From 2006 to 2007, we saw 15,757 properties sell. Year to date, from 2014 to 2015, we've seen 16,000 homes sell. Compare that to the 2010 to 2011 time period, where we only saw 9,563 homes sell. It's safe to assume that our market is on solid ground once again, as we've seen home sales increase year over year since the bottom of the crash.
