A descendant of the legendary clan the Hatfields, Mick McMains has been praised as “Wilburys-esque” by major critics, toured Europe with bassist for punk band The Generators, spent two years as vocalist for Earl Slick’s band, another two years as guitarist with Englishman John Wick’s The Records, and was involved with the art-music ensemble DJ Monkey as co-producer of two of their critically acclaimed albums. His ribald “Don’t Say Goodnight Tonight” was the most downloaded cut on Airplay Express’ Top 40 chart this past December .
