Humans are the only mammals known to produce tears as part of an emotional response. We shed tears of joy, tears of grief. Some of you may have shed a tear for a project that never pushed through, while some for a project team that has thrown you under the bus. Whatever the reason is, this combination of salt and water is an inevitable part of life.
