We continue our Lenten sermon series “Man of Sorrows.” Pastor Jonker will preach on the book of Job and what it teaches about suffering.
Man of Sorrows: The Suffering Of God by LaGrave Church
We continue our Lenten sermon series, Man of Sorrows. Pastor Jonker will preach on Romans 5:1-5 and Romans 8:14-17, two passages where Paul says some unusual things about our suffering.
It is the first Sunday of Lent. We will celebrate communion, and Reverend Jonker will begin a new sermon series called Man of Sorrows. All the sermons in this series will address the reality of human suffering and God's relationship to our suff
Pastor Jonker will finish our 'Formed by Jesus' sermon series. He will preach on Luke 11, verses 1-13, the passage where Jesus teaches his disciples how to pray. We will be thinking about prayer and its role in forming our life.

We will continue our Formed by Jesus sermon series. Reverend Jonker will preach on Matthew 18:15-20, a passage where Jesus teaches us about conflict and confrontation. We will also celebrate the Lord's Supper together.
We begin a new series for the season of Epiphany called Formed by Jesus. Rev. Jonker will preach, and we will consider the love command found in Matthew 22:34-40.
We will welcome back Dr. Stan Mast to our pulpit. He will preach on Hebrews 1, with the message entitled "Angels Unawares."
Becoming Like A Child At Christmas by LaGrave Church
Reverend Jonker will preach at that service. He will conclude our advent series, Jesus in Genesis. He will preach on Genesis 21:1-7 and the birth of Isaac.
We continue our "Jesus in Genesis" series. Reverend Jonker will preach on Genesis 14:13-24, a passage which introduces the figure of Melchizedek. At the end of the service, we will celebrate our annual tradition of singing the Hallelujah Chorus
Rev. Peter Jonker will continue our Advent sermon series, "Jesus in Genesis." His sermon is entitled "Far as the Curse is Found." His text will be Genesis 3:17-24.
