RATING
I have listened to quite a bit these available podcasts and have to ask...what is the point of having the co-host, Scott? He is beyond annoying and completely useless, pointless to the podcast. He is not funny at all , even though he tries his hardest. Leah is good but sometimes her tone is too monotone. I really want to give this podcast 5 stars but because of Scott, I just can't. Did she allow him on there to just give him something to do ? Whatever the case, he brings down the show. Scott is always attempting to be witty, clever, or intelligent but falls short of all those descriptions. His constant mention of conspiracy theories or government cover ups when they aren’t relevant to the story is just stupid and again…not funny. To sum it all up, Scott ruins this show.
Interesting subject, compelling cases and a good narrator; why she chooses to have the truly moronic co-host providing the most inane, off-topic, totally lacking in the humour he thinks it has commentary beggars belief. He ruins it-I'm giving up. When I find myself screaming SHUT UP at him as I listen, I know it's time to move on.
I gave 2 stars because I like how Leah tells the stories. I took away 2l3 because of Scott! He ruins it for me! His voice is not meant for podcasts and he interrupts too much and I honestly don't know why he's a co host. I don't think I can listen to podcast anymore bc his voice and interruptions drive us crazy.
I like Leah's measured, detailed reporting of criminal acts. I think her husband Scott provides engaging commentary.
I enjoy the podcast. I don't understand the reason for Scott's participation . His statements only seem to muddy the waters of an otherwise intriguing presentation.
The host puts a lot of investigation into the cases and she has a calming and articulate voice and approach. The co-host man, however, is incredibly annoying and oblivious. His commentary, or rather injections, can be insensitive, off topic, and… just really annoying.
