Norman Myers of Friends of the Blue Ridge stopped by the office to discuss his involvement in the organization, some challenges the organization faces, and a few projects currently being worked on.
Friends of the Blue Ridge Mountains (FBRM) was formed as a 501(c)(3) organization in 2007 in response to the recognized threat to the mountains from development, and environmental deterioration. FBRM is the only conservation organization in the region with the Blue Ridge Mountains as its focus.
