Chad Bruckner, a husband, father, veteran, retired police officer, author and friend  sat down with me this week to discuss life, leadership, and how we do a better job at being human. We discussed his latest work, "The Holy Trinity of Successful and Healthy Police Organizations", and the journey that brought him to this place. One of the most impactful quotes from his book came in the form of a text from his wife one night when he was struggling. His wife Kristen told him" One day you will retire as a cop but you will never retire as a father...". A great reminder for all, you are not your job, it can be noble and a source of pride but it can never be allowed to define our existence. Our conversation will redefine, remind and provide you a roadmap to stay the course.
