This week I had the absolute pleasure of sitting down with Dionnie Pfunde. To say the Dionnie is an immigration attorney doesn't do her or the work she's doing any justice, she is so much more than that! Dionnie is an advocate for the forgotten and downtrodden. She has developed a practice that focuses on legal immigration and how the process of entering this country should take place. We discussed the issues surrounding legal immigration ( The border crisis will be addressed in our part 2 episode). She provided so much insight into the plight and process of those trying to enter this country legally and the obstacles they face, I was reminded of the complexities and our general lack of knowledge about a system that has been in existence since this country was founded.
