Leading with HeartSince March 2020, much has been written about the disruption the global pandemic has caused whether in loss of life, societal lockdowns, or mass unemployment. Embedded within these profound shocks have been remarkable stories of resilience and leadership arising from unexpected places, offering compassion to neighbours and innovation to communities. Looking beyond the pandemic, this same spirit and commitment will be needed to tackle the daunting societal and human problems that persist, even intensify, in the form of the climate crisis, the mental health epidemic, the imperatives of equity, diversity, and inclusion, and the future of work. This podcast invites leaders who are thinking deeply about these topics to the forefront to discuss their learnings from the pandemic and envision what a more inclusive, sustainable, and resilient future looks like. Based on the principles of co-created, non-hierarchical knowledge, this project is proud to be student-run and managed by a team of undergraduate students. Furthermore, it has attempted to be intentional by including topics that pique the interest of the public while also providing spaces to a diverse set of leaders working across a broad range of sectors and industries.
