I received two in the past week. The two questions were:

1. David, why should I care for my work environment if nobody else, including leadership, does?
2. David, I am powerless to make a change in the culture I work, and the culture is affecting me mentally, professionally, and physically,. What do I do?

These are two REALLY good questions that deserve two REALLY good answers. As I answer these questions throughout today’s episode, my goal today is to provide you with tools and knowledge to take into a workplace that may be toxic. Some of you may be in a situation more dire than others, so I ask that you use them to best fit the challenges you face with respect, care, and humility.
