Seeing your children's bodies change as they move towards puberty can be anxiety-producing. You may know that you want to do things differently than your parents did, but don't know how.

You may feel daunted about giving 'the talk' and have memories of feeling totally awkward when you were given 'the talk' or of feeling lost and lonely when there was a book left on your bed but no direct communication.

Tessa has been running Celebration Days for Girls events for 6 years and gives talks in schools to children and to parents. She wrote and illustrated three books for children on growing up: Ruby Luna's Curious Journey (approximately 5+), Ruby Luna's Moontime (9+ or earlier if puberty happening early) and Dante Leon's Curious Journey (7+).
