The mission of LESWA (Amharic word meaning ‘For Her’) is to inspire and connect listeners to the stories of Ethiopian/Eritrean women. The podcast will highlight the inspiring journeys of women that come from the Horn of Africa and celebrate them for breaking barriers to advance in their fields. Each woman tells her own story—where she came from, what challenges she faced, what helped her succeed, what inspires her, and what thoughts she has for girls and young women growing up today.
