Too often we surrender our hearts to God, but hold back the surrendering of our bodies. After a personal journey I’ve been on this year, I wanted to sit down with Alisa Keeton and talk about her book The Body Revelation. Alisa does a beautiful job at helping us see the temple our bodies are, how we listen to them, and how to care for them in obedience to God. 

Alisa Keeton is a leading certified wellness professional with more than 20 years of experience. She is a wholehearted pursuer of God’s love, and is dedicated to educating and inspiring people to live healthy and whole lives in Christ. After more than 25 years as a fitness professional, Alisa felt God leading her to bring fresh meaning to the world of health and fitness. In 2011 Alisa launched Revelation Wellness, a nonprofit ministry that uses fitness as a tool to spread the gospel message and invites participants to become their whole selves, designed by God. 

On today’s episode you’ll learn how our bodies store trauma, how we recognize those signs, and how we can practically work through that pain to release it.
