Hi, I’m Layla — a former psychologist and longtime Stargate fan. Life has given me a unique lens to watch this show through: as a disabled, neurodivergent, LGBTQ+ person with cPTSD, I bring both professional insight and lived experience to the conversation. That’s why I wanted to start this podcast: because Stargate was never just about aliens and cool tech — it’s a rich show that still gives us so much to talk about.

This podcast revisits the series from today’s perspective by honoring what still holds up, highlighting what hits differently now, and yes, calling out the parts that did not age well — all in my very own brand of sassy, sharp wit with a little silliness thrown in.
