LEXLawRadio host Will Helixon interviews Emma Shinn, Esq., a military defense lawyer in Castle Rock, Colorado.  Ms. Shinn is a former U.S. Marine platoon sergeant and veteran of the Battle of Fallujah.  After her enlisted service, she completed OCS and law school, before finishing her military career and retiring as a Marine Judge Advocate.  Ms. Shinn transitioned in 2016, and discusses with Will many issues that have been raised by President Trump’s tweets announcing the ban on transgender people from serving in the military.  In this week’s “Left, Right, Left” segment, Jon raises and discusses the policy prohibiting servicemen and women from carrying weapons on military installations.  Jon asks why the people with the most training with firearms are prohibited from carrying them.
