Sherry is divorced mother of 5 sons and 1 daughter. She is a life caregiver, motivator and co author of an anthology by Precious Brown's entitled" I Rise/ Living Beyond the Bruises". Sherry is a survivor of domestic abuse. During this time she lost her mother, and her father fell a year later and was left totally paralyzed.

With all of this and the abuse, Sherries life took a turn for the worse when she began drinking and using drugs, and then falling into depression. Sherry believes she has a calling to help motivate and encourage people with disabilities and the elderly.

Sherry Beam was born in North Carolina and raised in Queens, NY. She currently resides in Charlotte NC now for more than 28 years. She loves God and has true faith in his promises.
