Unleashed and Online with Melissa Vlahos

Imagine guiding a woman through a most vulnerable and revealing journey of self acceptance, love and connection…totally online. That is what Melissa Vlahos has been doing since COVID-19 hit, and she is grateful that we are lucky enough to have the resources in this day and age to connect with and help heal each other, even if we can’t do it in person.

The Unleashed Project, helping women to love themselves from the inside out, has empowered women who want their inside beauty reflected on the outside with the help of meditation, body paint and a photo session to capture the experience. Surgery scars, stretch marks and a myriad of other things that society deems as “imperfections” transform into badges of honor and bravery, allowing for a celebratory self-expression that has the power to transform lives. In this episode, learn how Melissa is helping to shift the paradigm of what is considered feminine beauty in society, one woman at a time.

Melissa Vlahos specializes in therapeutic arts as a painter, photographer and dancer, trusting in the transformative power of these to heal. She passionately weaves a holistic approach to these and transmutes her personal discoveries by guiding, inspiring and empowering people. Her art reflects a belief that self-expression is a must in life and can create positive shifts for one’s self that can ripple out into society.

She is the founder of Unleashed which represents the fusion and embodiment of expressive and healing arts to guide women on their feminine journey towards self-love and conscious connectedness. She will share her personal journey that led her to finding her light within and inspired her to create The Unleashed Project, an empowering art project of self-love, self-acceptance and body positivity for women, on the cusp of a national movement and exhibition tour.
