Lightning⚡️Ventures Syndicate Q&A Round 2 with Geyser co-founder Mick Morucci. Geyser (https://Geyser.fund) Geyser is a crowdfunding platform enabling #Bitcoin builders, creators, and educators to realize their projects and initiatives through reward-based donations and grants - all while leveraging the Bitcoin Lightning Network.

December Updates:  In summary, there were 61M Sats ($8.5K) contributed on the platform (excluding grants), 102 new projects launched (211 total), 910 individual contributors locked in, 37% MoM growth on Twitter, and received 10K monthly visitors.  

MOARRRR Updates!  They have been crushing it. As of January Geyser received 8,000 individual contributors for a total of 6.8 #BTC, 225 live projects, 120 grant applications, and has ~1,000 MAU with a growing community.  

A former graduate of the Draper Bitcoin Accelerator, Geyser has been in full on BLDR MODE and in Mach 5 hypergrowth mode, both throughout 2022 and since our initial participation in September. We’re happy and lucky to continue supporting them and to have already begun investing in this round. Max Webster (Hivemind Ventures) led this round.  

How about their advisors? Brad Mills, Anton Yushin, Zach Shapiro, and Cryptograffiti. Geyser Grant Board Members include Giacomo Zucco, Des Dickerson, Brad Mills, Conor Okus, Daniel Prince, Cryptograffiti, and Lightning Labs’ Lucas Ferreira.  

Their 1st round of Geyser grants has been awarded and already they have a backlog of projects to be listed on the platform.  The 2nd round of grant applications is open and submissions are surpassing the 1st round.
