It is day three and our twelve Strays of Christmas on Big one hundred,
0:03
trying to find homes for homeless animals. And we've got Patty Stinton with us
0:08
from a Forever Home Rescue based in northern Virginia. And do we have a
0:12
puppy today, Patty? We have a wonderful puppy today. And her name
0:18
is Frog. How did she get that name? We don't know. Our
0:24
partners down south named these dogs. And I think, just like anyone in
0:28
rescue or shelter work, you've run out of names. She's said through hundreds
0:32
and the hundreds. It's not thousands of names, so sometimes they just end
0:37
up with weird names. And this little girl ended up with Frog. So
0:41
she is a terrier mix. I understand she's create trained. Yes, she's
0:46
extremely well behaved. She's trained, she's house trained. She's great with other
0:53
dogs. She's good with some simple commands like sitting laid down. She's great
1:00
a leash, and she's just a fabulous dog all around. She's around thirty
1:04
pounds. Now, how much is she gonna grow? She shouldn't get too
1:07
much bigger. She's eleven months old, so I don't think she's gonna get
1:11
too much bigger than that, maybe a few more pounds, but you know
1:15
she's trying to maintain her girlish figure too. See, this is a great
1:19
medium sized dog for a family. Yeah. Absolutely, she's a really good
1:25
saw. She's a little exuberant, so you know, around a toddler,
1:29
she could possibly knock one over accidentally. But other than that, she can
1:34
be around you know, anyone, children, adults, anyone, this dog.
1:40
I'm looking at these pictures and I swear she reminds me so much of
1:44
my childhood dog, Heidi Black with that white splotch on the chest. What
1:49
a good looking dog. Well, maybe Frog wants to come home and little
1:53
Lisa. You know, Lisa has four animals already, and if I get
1:57
any more, I think my significant other is going to throw me out of
2:00
the house. Okay, well then in that case, we're just going to
2:04
have to find a home for Frog. So somebody out there listening has got
2:07
to fall in love with this wonderful girl. Well there's more details on Frog
2:12
and all the information on a Forever home at wbig dot com Slash twelve strays.
2:17
And if Frog is not the perfect dog for somebody who is looking to
2:22
adopt this holiday season. I know you have a ton of dogs up for
2:24
adoption. How many do you have right now? I think probably six year
2:29
sixty and we're getting in some more puppies I think on the sixteenth, if
2:34
I'm not mistaken. So there's a constant turnover. So somebody takes a look
2:38
and doesn't fall in love, you know, come back in a week or
2:42
two, and chances are we'll have someone for you to fall in love with.
2:45
So how can we see all the dogs that you have with a forever
2:49
Home. They're all listed on a forever home dot org and there's pic showers
2:53
and little bios about where they came from. Any information that we have about
2:58
them and interested at the can email us at info at a foreverhome dot org
3:04
and their email will be sent to the foster parent, who will then reach
3:07
out and answer any questions that a potential adopter might have. Excellent, well,
3:12
Patty, I sure hope that Frog finds her forever home soon and again
