For this episode we are going to talk about an animal that lives in the marshy mountain areas of southern Columbia, southern Ecuador, northern Chile, and northern Argentina. We will be learning about the alpaca, a wild cousin of the llama. The alpaca is well known for its fleece and its resemblance to the llama. This is exactly why I named the title of this episode as, "Before you ask, no I am not a llama." Alpacas are also helpful guard animals when it comes to protecting livestock. If you ever encounter an alpaca, try not to get on it's bad sad. Chances are you'll get a face full of spit.
