Media literacy is the ability to identify different types of media and understanding the messages they're sending. In the digital age, people can take in a huge amount of information from a wide array of sources, far beyond the traditional media (TV, radio, newspapers, and magazines) of our parents' youth. Someone who is media literate can understand what is being said and how it affects the average person. They can read between the lines and can break down the important points of the text, while cutting out the fluff. So, do you want to be media literate?
