Laura is excited to be reunited with her horse, Bunny, and she enters a horse race, hoping to win both a prize and some glory. When Nellie gets wind of the race, though, she wants Bunny back; Nels says no, so Harriet goes out and buys Nellie a thoroughbred, like that's fair. Harriet and Nellie are out to win this race at all costs, which is bad news for Laura.
