Hi friends! Today’s show is a bit different because we had a family emergency, and one of our kids is in the hospital …and will be for a week. 🥺 I had planned to interview my dear friend (podcast host, published scientist … and one of my life coaching clients!) Liz Bagwell to talk about resetting our daily habits. ☀️ BUT… since I needed to shut down my week to care for my family, Liz stepped up and asked if she could do a “takeover” instead, so we still got this week’s episode out! And GOSH, IS IT A GOOD ONE!

In this episode, you’ll hear:

✨ All about your Circadian Rhythm and Circadian Clock - what these are and two things we can focus on to help us work for the way God created our bodies and not against

⚡ Energy Performance Ultradian Rhythm - what this is, how our society goes against it. We feel/think we have to operate at peak performance and energy 8-10 hours a day, and that just isn't the way God created us.

🧬 Our Nervous System- God designed us to spend most of our time with our rest/digest (parasympathetic) nervous system turned on, though many of us spend so much of our time in FIGHT/FLIGHT/OR FREEZE. And though GOD designed us to have a sympathetic NS for us to USE, when you perpetually live in it – your body is stuck using everything it can to keep you SAFE, NOT doing everything it can to keep you healthy.
