It's the Lockdown Podcast

0:04

Network, your team every

0:06

day. Jake

0:11

Knapp is the inventor of the design sprint

0:13

and the New York Times bestselling author of

0:15

the book Sprint. He's also the co-founder of

0:17

Character, a venture fund for early stage

0:20

startups. How and why did

0:22

you start using Nero? I came

0:24

from this position of thinking, I don't want

0:26

to be doing stuff online to thinking now

0:28

when I do a sprint in person with

0:30

a company, it's like we're going to use

0:32

Miro even though we're all in the same

0:34

room because that's a better way for us

0:36

to get this work done. As an investor,

0:38

we're basically investing in their ability to solve

0:40

problems. We're saying we think this group of

0:42

people is going to be able to solve

0:44

a problem in a really great way and

0:46

create value by doing it. And actually you

0:48

need to give people the tools that can

0:51

help them make decisions, help them collaborate, help

0:53

them visualize and see things in a different

0:55

way. And Miro does all those

0:57

things. So to me, at least as an

0:59

investor, I'm thinking give the team the tools

1:01

that are going to help them think that

1:03

are going to make the most brighten their

1:05

skills as smart folks. And Miro is at

1:07

the top of that list. Is

1:11

it a stay in or a go out

1:13

kind of Friday night? The choice is yours.

into the locked on Knicks podcast in New York,

1:29

Knicks fall one 13 to a

1:31

hundred in mile high. I'm going to tell

1:33

you why the Knicks size was

1:36

ultimately the difference maker in this one and

1:38

so much more next on locked on Knicks.

1:42

2:39

there. But who's talking to you? I'm gavin. She

2:41

all your favorite. Play by play broadcasters favorite. Play

2:43

by play broadcaster. And this

2:45

this is not my favorite performance from the New

2:48

York Knicks if an understandable one a 113 to

2:50

100 loss to the Denver Nuggets. The

2:53

Knicks got a close lead in this game at

2:56

12 to two run in the fourth quarter to

2:58

cut the deficit to 90 to 88. They

3:01

couldn't tie the game. They could not take the lead. The

3:03

Nuggets end on a 23 to 12 run

3:05

to close things out. And

3:10

this was ultimately after

3:12

after three gritty wins to start

3:15

the West Coast trip. No

3:17

G and a no be in this game. This

3:19

was not only an understandable loss. I would go so

3:21

far as to call it an acceptable loss for the

3:24

New York Knicks. I know no one in that locker

3:26

room believes I know Tom Thib it

3:36

doesn't believe that I know Jill and Bronson doesn't believe that they probably

3:38

thought. Down the stretch of this one. It was ultimately a winnable game.

3:41

in it. I talked a lot

3:43

earlier this season about all the

3:45

different times. It felt like the

3:48

Knicks were just completely outmatched from

3:50

a size perspective. It felt like that a little

3:52

bit on night one against the Boston Celtics. Their

3:54

second game of the season against the Pelicans. I

3:56

thought it stood out even more where the Knicks

3:58

were just dreadful offensively. Brandon Ingram was

4:01

just raining shots over the top of whichever

4:03

defender was unlucky enough to have a try

4:05

at him The offensive

4:07

rebounding the Knicks are getting a taste

4:09

their own medicine with Jonas found Tunis and

4:11

their front line and It

4:14

was demoralizing for a team. That was

4:16

a year off of just bullying the

4:18

Cleveland Cavaliers All of

4:21

a sudden fans OB top and they

4:23

just felt too small and then they

4:25

completely corrected that in one brilliant trade

4:28

For OG Ananobi and all of

4:30

a sudden the Knicks were once

4:33

again Back to being the

4:35

bully and whenever Ananobi has been on

4:37

the court despite no Mitchell Robinson For

4:40

two-thirds of the season now the

4:43

Knicks have have dictated the physicality of

4:45

every game and it just it's

4:47

impossible Not to think back

4:49

to what was it that 38 point

4:51

win over Denver right before the injuries

4:53

started coming in With Randall on

4:55

the court with Ananobi on the court if

4:58

that wasn't the apex of

5:00

this next season It was it was

5:03

right around that time I probably would

5:05

call that when the apex of the

5:07

next season how they just physically dominated

5:09

Denver Across the board

5:11

and then to flash from that to

5:13

today where there's no Randall there's

5:16

no Ananobi and Mitchell Robinson is close,

5:19

but he is not quite back yet

5:21

and It Just

5:24

sort of looked like a college team playing a high

5:26

school team and have the 18 playing a high school

5:28

team It was it was

5:31

the same comparisons. I was using earlier in the year. We

5:33

saw Michael Porter jr. Like

5:35

I don't know if this was the nadir of

5:37

his matchup with With

5:39

Dante Di Vincenzo, but the lob off the

5:41

backboard for the dunk that had to be

5:43

pretty close all

5:45

in all in this one

5:49

MPJ like He

5:51

finished 13 to 16 from the field 31

5:55

points and he just looked just

5:57

completely unaffected. It was it was

5:59

borderline as if he wasn't being guarded

6:01

up there. Basically every

6:03

time he shot, it was with a

6:05

clear line of vision. And you can't

6:07

blame Dante for that. He's what, he's

6:09

giving up five, six inches in that

6:11

matchup for a guy who can rise

6:13

and fire and has a high release.

6:16

But that was only

6:18

the start. I mean, the offensive rebounding early

6:21

in this game is the Nuggets scored their

6:23

first 10 points in the paint. Jamal Murray

6:25

was doing the exact same thing to do.

6:27

So he was either rating jumpers over him

6:29

or just corralling his own misses and putting

6:31

it back. Jokic, I mean Precious Achewa, bless

6:33

his heart, had zero chance to get to

6:35

him. The only time they were able to

6:38

somewhat contain Jokic was

6:40

when Isaiah Hartenstein, who was

6:42

fantastic, went into that in just a sec, was

6:44

in the ballgame. Aaron Gordon

6:46

was just playing volleyball off the rim.

6:50

It was a testament to what makes

6:52

this next team special that despite all

6:54

that, like they were in this ballgame.

6:56

And early on it was because Jalen

6:58

Brunson and Isaiah Hartenstein were both absolutely

7:01

brilliant. Brunson finished this

7:03

one with 26 points, nine

7:05

assists, two rebounds, Hartenstein, 20

7:08

points, eight to 10 shooting,

7:10

eight rebounds, three assists, two

7:12

blocks, one steal, awesome

7:15

across the board. And

7:17

Brunson in particular, his

7:20

ability to string out the double teams,

7:22

the way the Nuggets often play, they've

7:24

added some stylistic diversity into their defense.

7:26

But what they like to do is

7:29

use Nikola Jokic in drop. And Brunson

7:31

just expertly was able to string that

7:33

out and then just repeatedly find Isaiah

7:35

Hartenstein in heavy traffic, give the Nuggets

7:37

a lot of credit. They cleaned that

7:39

up in the second half and had

7:41

the low man rotate over

7:44

and were able to muck it up just enough

7:46

that Brunson couldn't really dominate them that

7:48

way in the second half. But in

7:50

the first half, Brunson's passing was

7:53

a sight to behold. I thought despite the nine assists in

7:55

this game, this isn't a crazy number from seven of them

7:57

in the first half. I was gonna say one of the...

8:00

better passing games on the year for Bronson.

8:02

I'll be a little more conservative and say

8:04

it was one of the better passing halves

8:06

we have seen on the season for Jalen

8:08

Bronson just over and over again. Like

8:11

the speed he's able to get on the ball

8:13

and despite the fact that they were putting a

8:15

lot of length on him and I think counting

8:17

on that length to affect his ability to deliver

8:19

on those passes even if he could see them.

8:21

I mean the one that stood

8:23

out to me was like left wing jumps up,

8:25

looks middle as if he's just going to whip

8:27

it to the top of the perimeter and just

8:30

fired a laser to Hardenstein under the rim

8:32

for a dunk. And it's reminiscent of some

8:34

of the passes Nicole Jokic throws. Of course

8:36

the difference is Jokic is a seven footer

8:38

and can see over the top while Bronson

8:40

has to jump as high as he possibly

8:42

can in the air, contort himself to a

8:44

weird angle to wrap it around the arms

8:46

of the defense and then laser it. I

8:48

mean the degree of difficulty for Jalen Bronson

8:51

was just ridiculous. Like there's no

8:53

other way to put it mixed in some

8:55

nice scoring as well and I heart return

8:57

the favor. I mean they had this beautiful

8:59

give and go in the third quarter where

9:02

he just threaded it between Jokic

9:05

and KCP. Bronson, we've seen him,

9:07

it's kind of a new outlet

9:10

on this Knicks offense with Isaiah Hardenstein starting

9:12

but I think they're going to it more

9:14

than ever with no Randall and no Ananobi

9:16

because they just need more ways to create

9:18

offense and they need ways to create offense

9:20

without putting a disproportionate burden on Jalen Bronson

9:23

and they found it with Bronson running

9:25

the two man game with Hardenstein and

9:27

cutting off the ball and I heart's

9:30

ability to just

9:32

find these passes that aren't

9:34

really open but squeeze

9:36

them in anyways. He doesn't get the types

9:38

of passes that a Nicole Jokic does one

9:40

because Jokic is a one of one and

9:42

is the greatest passing big man of all

9:45

time but also because Jokic has this incredible

9:47

gravity as a scorer and I heart despite

9:49

the fact that he had a really nice

9:51

game scoring the basketball like he's never going

9:53

to draw that kind of attention like and

9:56

he's not going to draw double teams and

9:58

because of that the pass is have

10:00

a much higher degree of difficulty and

10:02

he's still able to pretty consistently pull

10:04

them off. I want to

10:06

talk about what a hub he has become

10:08

and how that has changed

10:11

the Knicks offense to the better, especially relative to

10:13

what he did early in his career on

10:16

the New York Knicks and a little bit more

10:18

about Jalen Brunson scoring before getting into some other

10:20

guys. So we'll talk about that in just a

10:22

sec here on Locked On Knicks. So

11:17

11:19

York Times best-selling author of the book Sprint.

11:22

He's also the co-founder of Character, a venture

11:24

fund for early stage startups. How and why

11:26

did you start using Miro? I came from

11:28

this position of thinking, I don't want to

11:31

be doing stuff online to thinking now when

11:33

I do a sprint in person with a

11:35

company, it's like we're going to use Miro

11:37

even though we're all in the same room

11:40

because that's a better way for us to

11:42

get this work done. As an investor, we're

11:44

basically investing in their ability to solve problems.

11:46

We're saying we think this group of people

11:48

is going to be able to solve a

11:50

problem in a really great way and create

11:52

value by doing it. And actually you need

11:54

to give people the tools that can help

11:56

them make decisions, help them collaborate, help them

11:58

visualize and see. things in a different

12:01

way. And Miro does all those things. So

12:03

to me, at least as an investor, I'm

12:05

thinking give the team the tools that are

12:07

going to help them think that are going

12:09

to make the most brighten their skills as

12:11

smart folks. And Miro has got the top

12:13

of that list.

12:17

All right. So a little bit more on Hartenstein

12:20

and Brunson. Typical, really

12:22

impressive scoring game for Jalen Brunson. I did

12:24

think he faded down the stretch. A little

12:26

bit of this one didn't quite have the

12:28

impact in the fourth quarter that you'd want.

12:30

And in pursuit of

12:33

another big night, we saw the free throws

12:35

at such a high rate in Portland where

12:37

he made 15 of them. And then we

12:39

saw the threes going against the Kings. Last

12:41

night, didn't really have either of them, two for

12:43

seven from distance, just two for three from the

12:45

wide. And I think in that sense, the

12:48

Nuggets did a nice job of stopping him

12:50

from being hyper efficient. Again, the way they

12:52

were able to guard him is not the

12:54

way you're able to guard him when an

12:56

Ananobi's on the court, when a

12:58

Randall's on the court. But it gives

13:00

you an idea of how good Jalen

13:03

Brunson is at this point, that 26

13:06

points at nine assists on near

13:08

50% shooting counts

13:10

as keeping him in check. And I

13:12

think Denver, especially starting with the second

13:14

half of this game, they gambled like,

13:16

all right, if we throw those doubles

13:18

at him, if we take away the

13:20

most obvious pass to a roller in

13:22

Isaiah Hartenstein, we're going to

13:25

limit this guy just enough to win this ballgame. And

13:27

that is ultimately what they did. Like he had, he

13:29

had some good moments in the second half, like that

13:31

give and go like totally tore up. I can't remember

13:33

his KCP or if it was Reggie Jackson on like

13:35

a behind the back freeze, freeze

13:38

your defender, and then stamped

13:40

it with an elbow jumper. Like Brunson was

13:42

great in this game. Like it's no shade

13:44

on Jalen, but they did enough

13:46

against him. And I think that is going to

13:48

be the model for the teams in the playoffs.

13:50

All right, stop the threes. Don't

13:53

let him live at the line and just force him

13:55

to make a ton of Tuesday. I mean, I think

13:57

even even what we saw from Boston where they were

13:59

playing. drop on him over and over and over again,

14:01

but chasing him over the top with two of the

14:03

best defenders in the league in

14:06

Drew Holliday and Derek White, that

14:08

is going to be the model. How many teams can actually execute

14:10

on that? I think very, very few.

14:12

I think Boston and to a lesser degree Denver,

14:15

list of four or five. And again, if the

14:17

outlets are OG Ananobi and Julius

14:19

Randall, teams are going to get punished for

14:21

that in ways they're not getting punished now

14:24

when those guys are unfortunately

14:27

still injured. But I also wanted to talk about

14:29

how Hardstein sought

14:32

out his own offense in this game,

14:34

like aggressively going at Nikolai Jokic, like

14:37

twice for like once drive bump, little

14:39

baby hook, had another one where

14:41

he even took like a deeper hook. And

14:46

it was like a half reverse spin, like jump

14:48

hook, but it was like five, six feet away

14:51

just showed off great touch. Had another little push

14:53

shot in pseudo garbage time, late in the fourth

14:55

quarter. Had like, this is a really subtle play.

14:57

I don't know if you guys know what a

14:59

Gore Tot screen is, but essentially like when a

15:02

defender's in drop, it's where you set an initial

15:04

like pick and roll with the point guard and

15:06

then you sprint in and you set another pick

15:08

on the defender in drop. So it's basically one

15:11

screener setting two screens on a play and then

15:13

your point guard can just snake the dribble, turn

15:15

back the other way and get all the way to

15:17

the rim. He had sort of a pseudo version of

15:19

that where he didn't screen for Brunson initially, but then

15:21

just sort of snuck into the play and got a

15:24

yokeage his way to get Brunson a layup. You'll always

15:26

hear our boss David Locke very famously talking about Rudy

15:28

Gobert's screen assist back when he was

15:30

on the Utah Jazz. I would be interested in

15:32

seeing where I heart's numbers are on that because

15:34

I just think he was a pretty good screener

15:36

when he came into the Knicks. He has turned

15:38

into a great screener and it's just amazing how

15:41

much offense he's able to create for this team

15:43

and how he's been able to keep them afloat

15:45

when he first came to New York and we all talked about

15:47

like, oh we're so excited to see him as a passer. We're

15:49

so excited to see him as a passer and

15:51

it just was not really happening the first

15:53

40 or so games for him as a

15:55

Nick and as he unlocked that gear As

15:58

a rebounder and as a great. Reiser around the

16:00

grim I think it just bought him more time

16:02

on the court and and bought him more equity

16:05

with Tom Thibodeau when he said, i want to,

16:07

why don't we start seeing what you can do

16:09

As a passer as a playmaker I heart is

16:11

fully embrace. Did I. I. Know a

16:13

peep are not a big fan of

16:15

my potential. they're going to trade and

16:17

it's Robinson is off season theory and

16:20

not that that has the happened but

16:22

it is just hard to imagine the

16:24

seem going forward without as a hard

16:26

and sides as are starting center without

16:28

having playmaking. At. That position On

16:30

the other guy who had a really

16:32

encourage gave for New York was Alec

16:34

Burks who are we have crapped on

16:37

to Insanity on his podcast. But at

16:39

eighteen points, five rebounds, one assists, two

16:41

steals in a twenty one minutes on

16:43

a relatively efficient five for eleven from

16:45

the field prefer sixty three five percent

16:48

of know I'd. Probably.

16:50

Probably his best game as a nick.

16:54

I think it was big for him that

16:56

he got two different open threes. I'm

16:58

in this ballgame like like one to start

17:00

and another one on like a late like

17:02

I giving I would jericho similar it were

17:05

Denver just sort of cells sleep and he

17:07

was wide wide open but is consistently did

17:09

a good job attacking. ah getting to the

17:11

foul line like as they are Harden states

17:13

had it was a know look when he

17:15

was kind of tiptoeing the base lights on

17:17

cut for a layup and as great just

17:20

great awareness by Birch. For someone who are

17:22

we've accused I think rightfully at times it

17:24

just sort of playing in his his own

17:26

world's i'm on the next in and. Almost

17:28

being a separate entity on ah, thanks to

17:30

the other four guys on the floor like

17:32

that was just a great bit of like

17:35

i'm my teammate, needs help like I'm Rebel

17:37

mount and I'm gonna get a lapse adverbs.

17:39

I trust him to make that play and

17:41

make that pass on. And then he was.

17:43

He was able to on like lane the

17:45

fourth quarter. a really nice hesitation like added

17:47

control. Ah, close out from Christian Brown are

17:49

beat it for a layup as a bow

17:51

is the bucket. If I'm remembering correctly that

17:54

cut its and I did. Eighty Eight capped

17:56

off that Taza to run that featured him.

17:58

and bogdanovich on the floor and It was not

18:00

a good game for Bojan, 14 minutes,

18:03

just 1-5, 3 points. Did

18:06

have two assists though. And I thought

18:09

honestly like his plus seven was

18:11

maybe a little bit representative even though like

18:13

again he did not shoot the ball well,

18:15

like the only shot he made was in

18:17

the midst of that run hitting about a

18:19

30 foot 3 where I thought those two

18:21

were good was just again,

18:24

figure out a way to not like,

18:27

like it's the old LeBron quote basically. Like

18:29

don't stand out, fit in. I know that's not

18:31

the quote but put something along those lines.

18:34

Like Bogey didn't really force the issue, like

18:36

consistently like made the extra pass, like hitting

18:39

Deuce at one point on the right wing

18:41

for a three pointer. And it's

18:44

a simple play but those

18:46

two playing within flow I think give them an

18:49

opportunity to contribute to the SNCCS team when they're

18:51

whole. And if they don't play within flow, if

18:53

they play selfish, if they kind of try to

18:55

do their own pistons thing, they're just not going

18:57

to be a part of this rotation when

19:00

it's all said and done. And then

19:02

real quick, cold night for Josh

19:04

Hart, like maybe exhaustion. I know I

19:06

got banged up in the comments for saying he's

19:08

exhausted and then he bounced back and it was

19:10

before the Kings game and dominated the Kings. So

19:12

what do I know? Just

19:14

two points, one of five shooting, three

19:16

rebounds, one assist. If

19:18

he's tired, he has every right to be like

19:21

nothing to knock with Josh Hart. Someone would down

19:23

to D'Ivens' like not a terrible game for him

19:25

again like he was torched by MPJ. That's

19:27

a ridiculous match for him and not what he should have

19:29

ever had to have. And I don't know, you can't even

19:31

blame Tom Thibbito for that because the alternative was starting precious

19:34

to Chua and the defense probably would have been quite a

19:36

bit better. The offense would have been utterly

19:38

non-existent without the four outs facing around

19:40

Brunson and Hart's. The

19:42

size that affected them so bad then the

19:44

defensive end of the floor would have instead

19:47

I think mucked up their offense without having

19:49

four out and without giving Jalen Brunson lanes

19:51

to attack. So it was a screw

19:53

if you do, screw if you don't, sort of situation. But

19:58

D'Ivens' though, even though this is a rare a relatively

20:00

good shooting game frame from distance three for eight. I

20:02

wanted to zoom out and just look at his shooting

20:04

month to month. So in February, obviously

20:07

that was the heater form, 22 points

20:09

a game, four rebounds, three assists, shot 43%

20:12

from the floor, 37% from three. And

20:16

again, that was on ridiculous volume that month. He was taking 19

20:18

shots a game. Who would have ever thought there would have been

20:20

an 11 game stretch where Dante

20:22

would take 19 shots a game, 12 threes

20:25

per game over that run. Um,

20:28

so pretty good sample size. And before that, obviously he

20:30

was super efficient. Like you zoom back to December, 54%

20:32

from the field, 49% from three. And

20:36

then now to March nine games in 37% from

20:38

the field, 34% from three. Counting

20:42

stats are still good. 16,

20:44

four and four, not super far from what he

20:46

was doing in February, but the efficiency has just

20:48

fallen off a cliff. And I think it is,

20:50

it is sort of similar to

20:52

what we were saying with Josh Hart, when he hit the

20:55

playoffs last year, it is him carrying a load in terms

20:57

of volume that he has never come close to carrying in

20:59

the NBA. And I think in future seasons,

21:01

he might be a little bit more ready for that. This

21:03

year it is, is hitting him a

21:05

little bit. And again, that is understandable. And

21:07

it's just going to be interesting to watch to see

21:09

if on lower volume, like

21:12

he can trade that off for greater efficiency

21:15

as the Knicks continue to get healthy. But just, just something

21:17

to look for going forward. All right, guys, we are going

21:19

to wrap this one up with

21:21

a little schedule watch, a little standings watch where the

21:23

Knicks are at, where the Cavs are at. If you

21:25

have any questions, feel free to throw them in. If

21:27

we have a little extra time, we'll answer them before

21:30

we wrap up on Lockdown Knicks. Okay. Here's how Miro

21:32

works. See, it's amazing. What's

21:34

everyone doing at David's desk? Ever

21:37

since marketing started using Miro collaborative

21:39

online whiteboard, he thinks all our

21:41

other teams should sign up. Why?

21:44

He says Miro's making his meetings

21:46

disappear. And if every team gets

21:49

on it, that means even less

21:51

meetings. You're using Miro

21:53

for brainstorm, mind maps, customer

21:56

research. So could we use

21:58

Miro instead of having another a hundred? meetings

22:00

for every round of feedback? Yep.

22:02

You can comment, react to ideas,

22:04

even leave a recording on the

22:06

board. And what about presentations? There

22:08

are Miro templates for that. How

22:11

do you know so much about Miro? I've

22:13

actually been using it all along. I

22:15

just used a Miro board to plan

22:17

the best vacation. Okay, I'm on board.

23:14

let's do a little standings watch. Where

23:17

the Nix at, where are the Caves

23:19

at? So the Nix, when

23:22

we zoomed out and we talked about what

23:25

their schedule was going to be like going forward,

23:28

we mentioned just getting through that West Coast swing.

23:30

And three and one is a massive, massive victory

23:32

for the Nix. I absolutely would have taken two

23:35

and two. I would have understood one and three.

23:37

But by going three and one, they've kept themselves

23:39

in the running for the three seed in the

23:41

east, which they are now two

23:44

games in back of the Cleveland Cavaliers for.

23:46

They're also a half game behind the Orlando

23:48

Magic, who in one of their toughest remaining

23:50

games, knocked out the

23:52

New Orleans Pelicans and have to be

23:54

considered a factor in this race. But

23:56

for today, we're going to focus on the

23:58

Nix and the Caves. So the Knicks

24:00

upcoming schedule, plenty of opportunity to make us

24:02

some ground. The Nets, the Pistons, the Raptors

24:05

who have sort of given up are

24:07

sitting. Emmanuel quickly, Scottie Barnes

24:09

continues to be out with

24:11

an injury. RJ Barrett, I'm not 100 percent

24:13

sure if he is back or will be

24:15

back after the tragic death of his younger

24:18

brother. Of course, best wishes to RJ.

24:20

I don't think we got a chance to mention that

24:22

on the show. First and foremost, hopefully he's back to

24:24

that game and he's he's holding up as well as

24:26

possible. But that is a relatively easy

24:28

stretch of play for the New York Knicks. Nets, Pistons,

24:31

Raptors. And then you get the Spurs on

24:34

the road, despite the way Victor Wemenyama is

24:36

playing and it is incredible. That game is

24:38

not a game. The Spurs of late have

24:40

been exceptional. I've been playing not

24:43

only like a playoff team, but like a top

24:45

14 with Wemenyama is on the floor. The guy

24:47

is a superstar right now. Like I would I

24:50

would say the way he's played over the last

24:52

month, probably top twenty fifteen, twenty player in the

24:54

NBA pretty close to being on par with someone

24:56

like Jalen Brunson already. And just a rookie who

24:58

doesn't totally know what he's doing yet. So that

25:01

is extraordinary. That game will be a little bit

25:03

tougher than you think. But Knicks rip off four straight

25:05

wins there. Oklahoma City,

25:07

Miami, Sacramento, Chicago. Let's just be conservative. Call

25:09

that a two and two stretch at six

25:11

and two for the Knicks. Let's just say

25:13

loss of the Bucks, six and three. When

25:16

it's the Bulls, seven and three Celtics, hopefully

25:18

tanking. Maybe not. We'll call that seven and

25:20

four. You win the last two against

25:23

the Nets and the Bulls, nine and

25:25

four finish for the New York Knicks.

25:27

So they would need the

25:31

Cavs to be two games under that as the Knicks have the

25:33

tiebreaker. So they just need to tie the Cavs. Let's

25:35

call it 0 and 1 at Minnesota. We'll

25:38

say one and one against Miami. We'll say they trip

25:40

up. They lose one of the Hornets games. Maybe they

25:43

lose to Miami instead, two and two. Sixers,

25:45

they beat the Sixers. They lose to Nuggets, three and

25:48

three. Lose to Jazz,

25:51

beat the Suns or they go one and one of those two,

25:53

four and four. I know I'm just kind of flip-flopping here. I'm

25:55

going to say two straight losses in Los Angeles against two desperate

25:57

teams and less down. David Mitchell is back for those games. But

25:59

for now. We're gonna call that four and six and

26:01

then I'm gonna say they win their last three So

26:03

if they go seven and six Knicks go nine and

26:05

four that would be just enough for the Knicks get

26:07

to get the three seed Pending what

26:10

the magic do and the magic have a relatively

26:12

favorable schedule. So there is a chance They

26:15

have something to say about that. I just don't

26:17

totally trust it I have a feeling they are

26:19

gonna slip up a little bit down the stretch

26:21

and of course It's it's largely contingent on if

26:23

the Knicks are going to be healthy down the

26:25

stretch if they get mithraim It's an OG and

26:27

I know be back much better stretch in

26:29

nine and four a bit much better chance Excuse me

26:31

of going nine and four if those guys are

26:33

not back The Knicks

26:36

would would probably feel pretty good about going seven and six

26:38

thrust away Setting up a four

26:40

and five with Orlando when I think would

26:42

be an immensely winnable series if

26:44

not as a physically strenuous

26:47

one Of course then you

26:49

are facing down the prospect of dealing with

26:51

Boston the second round and the Knicks as

26:53

much as we hate Boston

26:55

We love New York don't particularly want

26:58

that smoke Pedro Sands Alberti says Tom

27:00

Fibido for president. You know what?

27:02

I'm with them. It's been a great stretch for

27:04

tubes. It's been a great stretch for the Knicks

27:07

despite a tough boss in Denver So that'll do

27:09

it for today on locked on Knicks. I'm Gavin

27:11

Shaw. This has been your show We

27:13

will be back on Monday with a recap of the next game unless

27:15

we're feeling frisky and we got it done on Sunday But

27:18

tune in subscribe be sure to not miss an

27:20

episode leave a five-star review on iTunes If you

27:22

can it really makes a difference gets what people

27:24

to watch the show and help us to keep

27:26

doing this But until then so long. We'll talk

27:28

to you very very soon Today

27:44

I want to talk about the health Diagramming

27:47

right everybody's nodding their heads right now Uh-huh,

27:49

and there is a potential solution that I

27:51

want to share. There was one name that

27:53

several people brought up I did some digging

27:56

and it's kind of nuts how much this

27:58

program Miro has for developers I

28:00

have to share this, it could potentially be

28:02

a game changer for you. So my favorite

28:04

part about Miro is that half the work

28:06

is already done. Like right now, typically we

28:09

spend hours starting diagrams from scratch, right? Gathering

28:11

information, you get buy-in from every team. Following

28:14

up, that's a lot of work to

28:16

do. But Miro has a full set

28:18

of integrations with the tools you're probably

28:20

already using. And they also offer open

28:22

APIs and SDKs for custom solutions for

28:24

all those niche diagramming use cases we

28:26

have to do, right? So the end

28:28

result is the same, but it doesn't

28:30

take forever. It's a massive, massive

28:32

time saver. I'm transforming basic flow

28:34

charts and network architectures, and it

28:36

all lives in one place. So

28:39

are you using Miro? Have you used it? I

28:41

wanna hear. After
