Longform is at the top of my list, always, but this was a particularly amazing conversation. Learning about Clint Smith's poetry background, and the slavery/Holocaust connections he has laid out in his book and the recent New Yorker piece, both, was moving and thought-provoking. It made me want to make sure to visit Berlin soon to see the markers he wrote about, and made me want to read everything he's ever written. This is a common response for me after listening to Longform episodes. I learn so much about storytelling, and just about thinking differently, by listening to his podcast.
