In 1984, Barbara Jean Dreher, a black woman, was last seen by her family when she dropped her two young boys off at her daughter’s home in Washington, D.C. In this episode, we talk about the circumstances of her disappearance, the ways in which the police so badly mismanaged her investigation, and how her family was impacted.
