I tried my best, but my brother, not so much. I played superbly, but my brother didn’t try.

“Ha! Ha! Ha!” The audience exploded with giggles!

“Молодці! Молодці!”

“Браво!”

“Give a round of applause for Christina Borsa and Darko Borsa!” said the host.

Playing the piano can be fun, especially when you are playing with your big bro. Mom taught me not only to play solos but also introduced me to piano duets like “J.S. Bach, “Joke,” “Manchini’s “Pink Panther” and “Prokofiev’s “Dance of the Knights.” I now play duets with my brother since I was six years old.

My brother, Darko and I share a lot of talents together, we can sing, we can dance, we can play multiple instruments, and we are decent swimmers. We are very lucky because we love and care for one another, but the percentage of kids that fight with there siblings is higher than the siblings that love one another.

It all started at Dance Camp, there was a talent show that my brother and I signed up for. My mother forced us to do the duet, but we are scared to pay in front of the audience together. We were going to play “Dance of the Knights “ on the piano. When we get called up, my brother and I turn pail. Darko begins to play, I join in. We start bravely and grandiose. How ever, we have stage fright, he starts to mess up. Then it becomes a chain. We start to play D Major instead of A Minor. I get back to playing A Minor, Darko starts hammering on the piano like on a lunatic. I can’t hold it in, I got to let it out. I can’t hold my laughter anymore. I thought. My brother and I burst with giggles while still playing the piano. I guess he was still trying to portray the Dancing Knights from the ballet of ‘Romeo and Juliet.” The audience collapsed with tears of laughter. After that, we celebrated at the Snack Bar with some Shirley Temple, mozzarella sticks, and ice cream.

That day I learned, I should never hold in my laugh when I am having fun with my brother, I also learned we are very lucky because we love and care for one another, but the percentage of kids that fight with there siblings is higher than the siblings that love one another.
