Two black, educated individuals discussing the importance of mental health awareness, resources, and utilization of therapy in the Black community. Within our culture there are many misconceptions about mental illnesses and treatment that deter us from acquiring the help we need (therapy, resources, support from loved ones). For that reason we decided to join forces to discuss popular topics within mental health, share our own experiences, and provide information on treatment in an attempt to decrease the stigma that remains.
