Before the major shifts in my awakening, I was searching for something. What this something was, I did not know. The feeling inside me was seeking for deeper understanding and a stronger connection with God and the Universe, yet doing everything that “I was told to do” never led to this feeling being satiated. I was looking outside the Self for answers.. Yet the true understanding lied within. Soon after one of my first major shifts in my awakening I began to move into the dark night of the soul. This experience can be traumatic in itself, but it’s actually the reversing of large parts of the trauma we have held for most of our lives. While treading the winepress in despair, I was given this lovely song which helped anchor me through the hard times. Heaven is Here by MC Yogi was a little gift to me from the Universe in helping me move through the difficult times.
