“Lullabies for Little Criminals” follows the footsteps of a young girl living in the dangerous parts of Quebec. It is a great ride to show how the girl, Baby, evolves from a young and innocent girl to someone who is influenced by the environment around her. This novel portrays women of being weak-hearted and unsophisticated and this is shown through Baby’s experiences with her dad, Alphonse, and prostitution.
