Our Luxury Voice in this episode is Brent Hill, Chief Executive Officer of Tourism Fiji. Brent was most recently the Executive Director of Marketing for the South Australian Tourism Commission. He brings over 16 years of experience in tourism and digital marketing, advertising, branding, communications, campaign, and executive strategy to Fiji’s National Tourism Office. Tourism Fiji is the destination marketing organizational arm of the Fijian Government agency responsible for marketing Fiji as the ideal destination for leisure travel globally. Tourism Fiji has established a presence in nine key markets around the globe, and its activities include advertising, public relations, media initiatives, trade shows, and programs for the tourism industry and consumer promotions to better showcase Fiji. Brent and I discuss his transition from Australia to Fiji, the upcoming re-opening of the country tourism to inbound travellers, the development of new markets in Asia in this pandemic time, digital initiatives, and the long-term outlook of tourism for Fiji.
