1950, Don Julian Santana, heartbroken and drunk, set out to find an island he could have all to his own. He found one and lived peacefully on the island. One day Don Julian heard screams coming from the canal. He came upon a young girl struggling in the canal. Don Julian did all he could to save the girl in the canal but he was unable to. The young girl drowned. Days later Don Julian was walking along the shoreline when a doll appeared to be floating along the same area the girl had drowned. He took this as a sign the young girl's spirit was now haunting the island and he hung the doll on a tree to try and appease the young girl so she may rest. According to Don Julian the spirit not only haunted the island but haunted him, he claimed he would be woken by a girl's screams for her doll as well as footsteps about the island. So Don Julian spent his years at the island hanging dolls hoping to help this little girl crossover, until in 2001 Julian suffered a heart attack and was said to have been found in the exact place as the little girl.
