Have you ever committed 6 months to a job halfway across the world without knowing much about it? Join us as we chat with our beloved Kayla. Kayla has been our production manager all summer as we've kicked off our podcast. But we also know Kayla as Jen's family nanny and a close friend in the dance world to both Jen and Stacey over the past few years. 

This brave 22 (and a half) year old girl is heading to the Democratic Republic of the Congo. We had the opportunity to snatch her for 30 minutes before she left to hear about her upcoming assignment in life. There are so many unknowns! So many feelings and fears and excitements. Listen here to find out about the job she is about to go do.

The greatest thing about this is that we get to catch up with her in a few months and update you all on how her time in the Congo is going... the work she is part of, the French she is learning, the crazy places she is traveling and all the things she is witnessing that are so different than our everyday life here in the Pacific Northwest.
