"It really is ordinary people doing small things every day that make the difference in the world. It's not a few people doing large grandiose things. It's everyone, doing a small part, like that, that create social change and small shifts in society, because it's a critical mass of people doing things." 

We met up with Shannon Keith, the founder and CEO of Sudara. Have you shopped Sudara? Sudara's mission is founded on a fair trade model that includes multiple sewing partnerships in India, making a way for many women to work and alter the course of their lives with a new skill, career and confidence.  We loved our time with Shannon and felt so privileged that she agreed to meet us, really not knowing us at all, and share her huge heart and dreams with us in our little old van in the woods. We had a lot of questions and she had ALL the answers! We can't wait to meet her again one of these days for a part 2 episode!

You know what's even cooler than this chat? We did a lot of our interviews this summer and so now they are finally rolling out in the fall. Since then, some time has passed and we've both been making a lot of conscious choices in life.  Our purchasing choices have started to shift. Our goals have begun to include a lot more local and a lot less crap. We've minimized our houses a bit (Stacey winning in this category), we've set Christmas intentions to be more meaningful and locally made, we've shared these things with our friends and we've sought out more guests on our show that represent this message. Guys! This is good stuff. This gives us more purpose and clarity and less junk and waste. Get with us on this. You'll be glad you did!
