MCMG is a new media production project focused on providing a voice to low-income residents and the organizations that serve them. With deep, strong roots in various Madison neighborhoods and community organizations, we know there are many important and inspiring stories that are going unheard. We don’t intend to tell people’s stories but actually give them the tools and support so they can speak in their own voice.The reality is that many low-income neighbors and community organizations just don’t have the resources to project their message out to the community. MCMG includes local activists, technicians and producers committed to give our friends and community partners a voice. We have the knowledge, experience and some gear, so we plan to put ourselves at the service of the community.
