When I try to organise my thoughts in my mind, it often feels unconnected and unreal. Thinking out loud is how I process complex ideas and opinions. Theology, Karl Barth said, is like painting a bird in flight or as Charles Gerkin observed, it is done on the run. Thinking out loud is what we are going to do in this podcast. We are not going to formulate final answers, conclusions or dogmas. We will allow ourselves to think out loud.
