As we continue to work our way through the Meditation for Awakening course, I want to talk about the importance of curiosity and exploration in a meditation practice.

In a lot of ways, this is THE most important thing — but we need to be careful about not letting our curiosity lead us into the common trap of comparing ourselves to others in the process. It’s in the act of comparison that we create the possibility of a failure state, and when we remove those expectations from the equation, we get one step closer to effortlessness.
