This meditation is a collection of evocative affirmations adapted from a varied selection of sources, including Suzuki's lectures, Zen Buddhist texts, records of conversations with Sri. Nisargadatta Maharaj, philosophical tomes of Heraclitus, books on Advaita Vedanta (non-duality) and self-help classics. The profound words have been set to soul-stirring spiritual music, with stunningly beautiful scenes from nature, which will elevate you to a sweet meditative state. Here are a few suggestions on how to make the fullest possible use of this meditation:

a) Let the meditation run softly in the background. Make no effort to focus on or understand the words in the affirmations.b) Simply trust that your subconscious / soul will grasp the truth to which the words point, without any effort on your part.c) Whenever there is a gap of silence, focus softly either on the music or on the silence between the musical notes, or even on the meditative visuals. Just stay rested in the sacredness of the spaces.d) Alternatively, ponder on the meanings of the words. Most of the affirmations are simple yet powerfully positive statements. However, a few of them are like sutras in their brevity and depth. Some of them are related, some stand alone.May this meditation become a portal to the deep peace and bliss that resides in your Self!
