Celeste Miranda, host of The Cannabis Marketing Lab Radio Show was joined byJohn Hartsell, affectionately called ‘Harts’, co-founder of WeediaBuzz, as they spoke profoundly on all aspect of the cannabis industry.

Commencing with how he got into the industry, Harts spoke on what exactly it is that WeediaBuzz does and explained that WeediaBuzz’s main aim is to provide a platform where people; whether it be entrepreneurs, investors or consumers can find relevant and quality information about the industry, how it can help both entrepreneurs and investors to connect in the industry as well as the origin of WeediaBuzz.

Harts spoke on the topic of the growing acceptance of the industry, then explained why legalization of the cannabis industry is so important to him, the industry and the economy to a further extent citing that the industry will move from a 3.5billion dollar industry to an over 30 billion dollar industry in the next 5 years, in addition to the national effect hemp will have on the world and the threat it poses to the oil industry.
Both the Harts and Celeste agreed on the importance of expos in the industry and stressed that entrepreneurs should take advantage of these expos as they serve as a medium where all areasof the industry can meet with persons from outside the industry. Harts outlined that many professionals are using the expos to become more familiar and enter the industry and entrepreneurs should certainly capitalize on this.

Noting that both large investors and newcomers are important to the industry, Harts spoke positively about personalities like Snoop Dogg’s association with the industry and the positive effect Leafly, Weedmaps, MassRoots among others are having on the industry.
