Analysis paralysis is a real thing. We all suffer from it to a certain extent. But not all of us let is stop us from taking action and implementing the strategies we want to implement. But most of us do! Most of us get so overwhelmed by all the options out there that we do nothing. It reminds me of the quote "the confused mind does nothing." Truer words have never been spoken.This week, I'm giving you permission, to give yourself permission, to forget all the shiny objects and do whatever the hell you want to. Whatever real estate marketing strategy or client acquisition strategy YOU want to do, you should do. Being a Realtor should be fun! Once you really focus in on what YOU think is fun, you'll start seeing some major success in your real estate business.You can be successful doing just about anything. There are agents building big profitable businesses cold calling. There are real estate agents building wildly profitable businesses door knocking. Sending postcards. Running Facebook Ads. Producing YouTube videos. Doing a local podcast. And on and on and on. Everything works, and nothing doesn't. Think about that. Everything works... and NOTHING doesn't. So if you do something, and stick with it, do it long enough, and it will work. But doing nothing gets you a bunch of nothing.My hope is that the perspective from this episode will help you really focus in on what YOU want to be doing. MAP 089: Video Tips & Ideas for Realtors w/ Tim Macy
Right now, today, it's pretty much a requirement that Realtors produce video to some degree. It's 2019, only a few months away from 2020! If you don't have a great online presence in a way where potential clients can SEE you, get to know you, and make a connection with you, then it's just a matter of time before you go out of business. If you can't be seen, you literally don't exist. Video is the medium that makes you visible in the most powerful, impactful way possible, short of an in person meeting. When you not only hear someone talking, but see them talking, and see their body language while talking, connections can be made faster than just about anything else. But video can be done in very simple, easy, and inexpensive ways. You don't need to go spend $1,000's on video equipment and 20 hours a week editing video to successfully use video to grow your real estate brand. In fact, sometimes the less edited and less polished the video is, the better it performs.
