As common to most human beings, foundational statements are considered true and unquestionable at face value. This results in the formation of traditions and practices that eventually define and engulf the life of a group of like-minded people.However, Jesus indicted humanity, specifically the religious enterprise on espousing tradition to the extent of making ineffective the very potent Word of God. “Come now, let us reason together” is a statement of the almighty to humanity, desiring thinking, learning and growing. Then confirmed, “For the mouth of The Lord has spoken it”.Do we truly seek to meet Our Father, to know Him intimately away from all ideas we’ve been introduced to by society and the establishment of religion and family? Are we seekers?
