Sometimes, it’s those pleasant surprises we couldn’t see coming that help to keep life interesting. What makes them extra sweet, however, is their unexpected nature. Often they begin as something we have no interest in, something we don't want to do, something we don't want to attend, something we don't want to have any part of… but, in the end, the unknowable forces of fate and fortune unite to make them fond memories we cherish forever. Maybe it was a “Hey, I’ve got an extra ticket,” moment; an unscheduled last minute change in plans; or perhaps it was being assigned a task that initially filled us with dread and trepidation. We start out under brooding skies only for the weather to change for the better. Time now to join our two hosts, Kevin and Steve on the banks of Lake Wylie as they ponder some of these curious events, reminiscing on times when the initial outlook wasn’t so bright, but the sunshine came through to save the day.
