A native of Needham, Massachusetts, Hall of Famer Margie Anderson led UMASS to an NCAA Women’s Lacrosse Championship in 1982. She was an exceptional soccer player at UMASS. She played on two US National teams and served as the head coach of the University of New Hampshire’s Women’s Soccer and Lacrosse Teams. Both the Women’s Soccer and Lacrosse Teams at UNH won ECAC titles and competed in NCAA Tournaments. Anderson is the founder and director of the Connecticut based Spirit Sports Camp for girls. She lives in Ohio with her husband and children where she spends most of her time preparing for the upcoming summer camp season.
