Lies and slander have been circulating about the missionary's previous visit. These lies are debunked one-by-one. The church is reminded that the missionaries love them and were motivated by their love and obedience to God. In fact, having just taken a beating in Phillipi, they had to depend on God for the courage to again present the gospel message in the midst of enemies.
