The Meanwhile crew finally jumps head first into the world of anime. Since this is the first venture into this colorful corner of fandom, we felt it was appropriate to discuss our early days of anime. The unforgettable classics, the long unstoppable mainstream juggernauts , the niche gems and the nostalgic gold mines.  These are the anime that got us into anime and our recommendations for those who want to dip their toes into this rich pool of artistic storytelling.
