I love going to school. I like my faculty, most days I like what I'm doing, but still I noticed a problem: I am unable to have a conversation with everyone. I do not know who everyone is, and I treat these people like strangers and not like friends or even colleagues. But it's not only me, because many times I've heard people say "who is that person" or "I've never met them". This is unacceptable. So, I've decided to start a conversational podcast to try and solve this problem. Each week I'll sit down with a new person, have a drink with them (of their choice) and talk about who they are. This is NOT the place to talk at length about school or superficial fluff; this is an opportunity to get personal and tell great stories. This aim of this podcast is two-fold: To allow individuals to explain a little bit about themselves so that the rest of med sci can get to know them. To provide an opportunity for individuals to speak their mind, tell personal stories, and have someone listen. Since this podcast began, the highlight of my week has been getting to know a new person, and I hope that you can enjoy it as much as I do. Join me, as I try to get everyone to know everyone. Join me, on Med Sci Cast.
