Ben Morris is currently differently employed—a term he uses to describe the sort-of sabbatical he's taking to explore passions on his 10-acre property in the countryside while planning what his next moves are. After spending the early years of his career building and a 4+ year stint at Shopify, he's in the midst of a transition that will, as he mentions, probably include investing in early-stage Canadian companies and maybe even homeschooling his kids. But before all of that, he's roasting coffee, making maple syrup, and leaning into whatever feeds him.
